I showed my daughter the pictures on the dis and she is so excited. Can I hear more. Is it a reasonable trip? I know the cost of the hair and nails but can you get out without it being a $100.00 day? Are the extra items lots of $$? Does the polish last. Can the hair do last more then a day. Any more info would be great and pics would be even better. Thanks Deb

I took my daughter earlier this month and she loved it!! We did the $45 package (hair, nails, and makeup) and just brought our own Sleeping Beauty dress from home. The nail polish lasted over a week, even after swimming and bathing. Her hair lasted for three days...although it took a couple washings to get all that pixie dust out ;)

Our appointment was at 3:30pm and we did dinner with the princesses that evening at 8pm and she still looked like she had just stepped out of the boutique all those hours later. And she is 3 so that is no small feat!

The 'fairy godmothers-in-training' were all amazing...super friendly and they really went out of their way to make things great. They are not allowed to accept tips, so our total was exactly $45 plus tax.

Here are a couple pics...

They do have different hair styles to choose from, so don't let the wild purple hair scare you off. :rotfl2: My dd loves purple and wanted that diva hair style, but there is a cute updo with curls, and a more traditional princess hairstyle that includes a crown instead of the fake hair piece. You get your choice on that. And we got to take the fake press on nail kit and the rest of the makeup home with us.
I hope this helps!! :thumbsup2

That was great. Thanks so much and your pictures are pricless. She is a real cutie. Looks like to will be worth it. Thanks again Deb

Did you happen to see the costumes that come with the bigger package? I was wondering which ones they had and if they are the same ones they sell in the parks. We are wanting to do the big package for my DD's 5th birthday next year .

Awe! I wish I was 5.

I'm 23 but I'm a big kid at heart lol I'd do it if I could hehe

Yes, the dresses and princess accessories are the same ones that they sell in the parks and in DTD.

The reason we didn't do the bigger package was that I had heard from several people that it really wasn't worth it, as you are paying ALOT extra for just the dress and pictures. And when we were there, several cast members working at the boutique kept asking me where I bought dd's dress and commented that they liked it better than the Sleeping Beauty one that they offer. (It's from Target, by the way!)

The only reason we are considering doing it is because it would take the place of presents. I was planning on making up a certificate and wrapping it up and giving it to her on her birthday since it is in April and we are going at the end of May. Did you get to see any of the pictures taken what were they like? Thanks so much for the info.

She is adorable!! Do you think an older girl would like the hair extentions or is this more for the little girls?

My DD is 10 and can't wait to go to BBB! She won't dress up as a princess, but, she's really excited about the hair extensions and glitter. The whole "glam" thing appeals to her now more than looking like a princess.

I'm going to enjoy it while she's still a "little" girl! Soon she'll be a teenager and will probably think its too childish.

I've seen lots of girls around 9-10 having birthday parties there and they love it just as much as the little ones. My DD recently went to a party there with---count it--- 10 girls! At $50 a person! YIKES! Glad it wasn't me footing the bill.

I just booked this after seeing the pictures posted here. I had thought it would not be worth it but it looks like so much fun. My dd is almost 5 and loves to dress up and have her nails painted so I think this will make her very happy. I have not decided if I am going to buy her a dress there or take one with us and let her change. I would not let her wear the shoes in the parks anyways as they would be so hot and give her sore feet. Better maybe to not have the chance to argue about it and just take the dress and some pink crocs. Thanks for the post.

just a quick quesion about how long it takes at the boutique. we have reservations for the te party at the GF and were hoping to dd4 to the boutique. so would i have time to get the castle package done and then be at the GF for 1015 if we make an appointment for 9am. thanks

Glad to hear so many good things about this...I was contemplating on booking it for my DD4. I thought she would love it!! Still not sure though since I will be taking her for a manicure before we leave for vacation, and her hair probably won't stay since we are going in July and she is blessed with curly, frizzy hair like her mom. :rotfl2:

So if you just base it on experience do you think it's worth the $$? :goodvibes

angelbaby29871 -- When I called to make our appointment the CM told me the boutique opened at 9:30 am. She told me a castle package should take about 45 minutes from start to finish. With travel time, I'm afraid there's little chance of making it to the GF in time for a 10:15 am tea. Is it possible to change your tea time? I'm leaving even more than 45 minutes blocked off for our appointment since I figure it may take my dd's 45 minutes just to pick out a princess costume! :rotfl2:

Hope you can work it out, it looks like a lot of fun!

MsSpinShady princess:

P.S. Rajay320 - thanks for posting the photos! Your dd is adorable! (Thanks to jezebella too -- cute dd!).

thanks for the information. i'll need to move my reservation for the boutique as its the perfectly princess t-party that i've got booked. good point about the extra time for the dress picking, it'll probably take my dd about the same length of time lol. for a 4 year old she knows what she wants and is not afraid to ask for it. :rotfl2:
