Can anyone share their experience with me about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? I would like to bring my 3 year old little girl for a makeover. What is it like? How much does it cost?

It's wonderful!!! Just got through taking my 3 yo and 9 yo plus girl cousins 7 and 11. It was one of our highlights!! They are so nice. My 3 yo actually fell asleep and they let us come back later in the day to do pictures and re-do the sprinkling of the pixie dust. We spent $49 for the lowest pkg and wore out own dress.

We took our daughter in Sept 07, she was 3.5 at that time. It was the best money I have ever spent at Disney and I know many ins and outs of the parks (I am a proud alum of the WDW college program too). I can't stress enough what a delight it was. Your wee one must be mature enough to sit still for at least 40 minutes for the makeover plus pics after, etc. I don't remember the exact cost but there are different packages available. We did the most expensive package which I believe was somewhere near $200...

I don't know how helpful this is to you since your daughter is 10 years younger than I am, but I did the BBB on out April trip. It was definitely something that younger girls would enjoy, but for anyone who's wondering, nobody thinks it's weird when older girls go in. The little girls, who I watched the whole time, looked like they were in heaven. I'd say go for it!

Just went a few weeks ago with my 8yr and 3yr old DDs. They loved it!! I was concerned that my 3yr old wouldn't do well, but she was perfect. We adored our FGM in training. They did the hair, nails and make-up. I chose not to do the full dress thing b/c we have almost all the princess dresses with my oldest and my youngest is starting to fit in them. It cost $50 and they got to keep the polish and make-up. It was fun. My oldest loved it more than when she has been to Libby Lu.

If you click the link in my sig it is all about peoples expierences, questions, answers, and pics. We love the BBB and have had a wonderful time each time we have gone.

My 8 year old had her hair and nails done in early December, and she absolutely loved her Rainbow Pop Princess do. OK, I have to say at first she looked like she was being tortured, and I worried she was. Even though we brought our own brush, they mostly used a fine tooth comb on her hair, and she has a very sensitive head. She sat quietly, but the look on her face was evidence enough of her feelings. The fairy godmother who was doing her nails noticed too and told her she could tell the fairy godmother who was doing her hair if she was hurting her. My daughter said no that it was OK, and sat quietly through the whole process. When they finished, my daughter absolutely loved her hair. She was all smiles. Afterwards, I was kind of disappointed that we had waited until the evening to have her hair done because she looked adorable, but it ended up being a blessing because even though she loved it, it was pulled tight and eventually began to bother her and give her a headache. We had to adjust it alittle for it to be bearable. I don't think she could of endured it the whole day.

If I remember correctly, I think it was between $50-$60 to have her hair and nails done. It is an experience that I think most girls will love.

Is there a place for me to sit and observe while my little girl is being transformed into a princess? I think she would want me near her.

You can sorta hang out - they will be taking lots of pictures and it is done pretty quickly. If you go to youtube.com and search for "princess makeover" you can find several videos I have made and other people have made of their experiences.

My mom is giving my girls GC for this - is it hard to get reservations? We are planning to go in April but I haven't made reservations for anything yet!

they make ressies 180 days in advance and if it is the same night as a party it maybe harder to get an appointment so I would call now.

My DD was 3 1/2 when we went in October. She just loved it. We did the middle package and brought her princess dress with us. We also had the Cool Dude done for my DS. They both loved the attention they received walking in the park afterwards. We are going back in March and they both have asked to do it again.
