Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - Brochure....

Has anyone made an appointment in advance? I want to do this for DD on our up coming trip for her birthday. Do you need to pay for it in advance or leave a cc to hold the ressie? Thanks!

I made my DD's appointment about 3 weeks ago and we're going at the end of August. I picked the middle package, and am debating wether or not to go for it all. I too am checking every day for pictures of the costumes, I have seen the brochure, some pics of the boutique, and some of a dress bought in another store worn after the makeover. Here's hoping someone will post some pictures soon of their little princess who had the whole makeover. If you haven't seen it already here are a few pics of the boutique itself:

No pics from anyone yet? I'm excited to see what it all looks like and whether the $175 package is worth it. My DD LOVES princesses and wears a dress each day of vacation so this would be the ultimate experience for her.

What I figure on the price for the $175 package is:

$60 (Jasmine) -$85 (red Belle dress) for the dress (the are the prices of the dresses that I saw)
$45 for the middle package - which is also part of this package
$30 (probably more) for the photo "shoot" - most picture packages at Disney character meals, etc are in the $30 range, but this is more "custom"
They also get a sash, and some sort of compact....

I will try and take more photos of the dresses this week - I only got a couple last evening - the store was packed, and I was in a hurry to get back to my famiy who were "stuffing skulls"! I am going to make a solo trip on Thursday while Dsis and DGreatNephew, who are visiting are in Magic Kingdom.

I resevered the castle package princess: 180 days out for my DD on our september trip,it did require a CC to hold but they didnt charge it..i also made an appointment for myself to have hair and nails done, with her !so they take adults to :rolleyes1 ! The Cm was so helpful and a sweetie!
The cm suggested that i call a month or so before and tell her what princess my DD chose so they could have her size on hand. This would make it hard to keep it a surprise!!
For the photo shoot the cm told me, they take some before, during and after shots then the poses, you get an 8x10, 6x8, and 4-4x6's with the package. and of course you can order more!=0) i thought it would be a fun time for just mommy and DD away from the boys. :goodvibes

I would be very excited to see any photo shoots pics... hopefully they make it worth the money

I think us Moms are more excited about this than our dds LOL. I was wondering if they ask for a specific princess dress at the time of booking, if you can call (24 hours in advance of course) and change it. I am going to book ours later in our trip so I will have time to go and check out the dresses and have my dd pick which one she wants and then call and change it. I wonder if they will allow this. I know the dress my dd picks 180 days out will change many times esp. when we are there and we see other ones. Just a thought. princess:

I have a ton of pix to share but don't know how so send me an email to JulieNMM at yahoo and I will send them to you.

DD4 went on Friday and got the middle package and was wearing her Ariel dress. She also got a photo shoot. She LOVED it!

You do get a sash with the crown package. We just went and I posted a review on another thread. I will post it here as well.

Well, we are back from our trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It was a lot of fun! I went with my DD(5) and DN(4). My daughter got the Coach package - hair and makeup. She wore her own dress. My niece got the Castle - the works. Both girls were treated the same - like royalty. We had the first ressies of the day, 9:30, but there were a LOT of people already there. They have a bunch of stations to do the makeovers. I didn't count, but I guess about 10.

My daughter got the "Fairy Tale" hairstyle. It was traditional. Her hair was up in a bun with a small tiara in front and a Mickey Mouse "bling" clip in back. They sprinkled pixie dust in her hair and had her wear a Miss America type of banner thing that said Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on it. There was a photopass guy there who took her picture throughout most of the process. She was also able to take home the left over makeup that was used on her. We were then sent to the scrapbooking store at the Marketplace (World of Memories?). She did a photo shoot there and we were able to put all of the shots on the photopass card. She also was asked to sign her name in a Princess Registry book so she could come back one day and look at it.

My niece got the Pop Princess hairstyle. She has short hair, so it was nice for her to be able to have long hair with the extensions. She was able to pick an outfit from the Princess closet. Then they took her to the dressing room to get changed. They did her hair and makeup next. She had all the treatments mentioned above and was also sent for a photo shoot. Her package came with some photos, so her mom left with some on the spot.

After the makeovers we headed to MK for lunch with the princesses at the Royal Table. The girls got a lot of attention throughout the park that day. Especially when we park hopped to EPCOT where girls in princess dresses are less the norm than at the MK.

My overall recommendation is that if you have little girls, you should go. Wear your own princess dress and save some $, because you are treated no differently. Get the first ressie of the day, so the little princess can wear her hair for the entire day. It was money well spent.

Hope this helps . . .

Sure, I will try to figure out the pic thing sometime today . . .

Thank you marathonmom for the review. It was awesome and really appreciated. I know mine are excited. We have 10:20 time slots and plan on going mini golfing and out to dinner with the princesses. Thanks.

Another Thank you for the review! We have an appointment this Friday for 9:30 AM and I am so excited. It is our only surprise for our DD and DH won't be there so I am glad to hear that we can have the pics put on a photopass card! If we haven't been to the parks yet, will the photographer there be able to set us up with a new card? DH has a conference and will not be joingin us for our vacation until Saturday, so we aren't going to any parks until he is with us - hence, no card yet.

Okay,
I figured out how to post a pic, but only in my signature . . .

I believe the photographer has the cards. We had one already, but I am sure he does. The pic of DD is above. I have some better ones from the photo pass. My sis is sending me the photopass cd in the mail. The photos from the photo shoot look very professional! If I remember, I'll post one or two when I get them!

What a beautiful picture. Thank you so much for posting. Looks like she really had a lot of fun. princess:

Ack! The picture has vanished already and I didn't get to see. :sad2: Is it just me? Can anyone else see it?

No, I can't see the photo, try photobucket.com

Thanks for the review. We go next Friday for the coach package. . .

Hi, my girls went on April 3 as walk ins before BBB officially opened. Their experience at BBB was their favorite thing about our absolutely magical WDW trip. :wizard:

I posted pics of BBB and them getting made up on the resorts board on the Grand Floridian info thread.
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=513609&page=118&pp=15

Not exactly where this will take you - never done the link thing before - but I posted on page 118 post number 1757 if you're interested in seeing pics.

The pics in my signature show them as Alice and Ariel before and after their BBB makeovers. They had the Crown package done. We bought our own dresses at the GF.

Happy planning,

Lives4Disney :sunny:

Thank you! That link worked perfectly and I got to see all the pics. Thank you so much for sharing.
