I'm sure we've done this in the past, but since it's this weekend again, let's see what everyone thinks...

I like the changes. They have pros and cons but in a place where winter is looooog and daaaark, the fall change is especially welcome.

I hate changing back and forth, and wish we could compromise in the middle and stay there. (Obviously this is impractical, because the whole world would have to do it or we'd be dealing with even more complicated time zones. 😆 )

We already do. US (those areas that do Daylight savings) change at a different time than Europe (those areas that do Daylight savings). So, for the two weeks after this Sunday, (it ranges from one to three weeks), the time difference between us and the US is off by an hour. Figuring out when your meeting is can be fun (it depends if an American set the meeting or if we set it).

The whole world doesn't do it now.

The benefit, for me, of springing ahead is that I get my Indian coworkers for an extra hour each day since they don't change their clocks and they continue to follow the same schedule.

I meant if we were on the half-hour, while others were on the whole hour (or changing back and forth between whole hours). Dealing with different time zones while it's all nice round numbers is bad enough.

India is X.5 hours different than the US (depending on where you are in in the US). Which is funny since India was RUDisney's specific example :)

Newfoundland is also a weird 30 minutes off.

Possibly other places, but those are the two that I know.

I had no idea!

It doesn't bother me to change twice a year. I'm home all day usually, so it's nothing for me to adjust to the change.

It's not as big of a deal as some people make it. I'm fine with the changes, though I am always excited for DST when it comes around.

I love the extra hour in the fall. My kids would often have their fall break that weekend and several times we were in Disney—we would call it an extra hour of vacation. The first time we got back to our room late on a Saturday night and were dragging and were supposed to be up very early the next morning for an early princess breakfast in Epcot. After we got the girls to bed, we were in bed watching the news and were reminded of the time change. In our excitement for our trip we had completely forgotten it was that weekend. One hour never felt so sweet.

Otherwise it doesn’t impact me too much either way so no strong opinion.
