I can take Beyonce or leave her. But I can't stand this song. I can't even watch the video all the way through. It kind of surprises me that so many young girls (I'm talking six and under) know all the words and shake their hips right along with it. I won't let DD watch it.

I don't care for the song. My kids love it. I just don't like it when Beyonce does those fast, "jerky" songs.

Now, I loved "If I Were A Boy."

I agree! I love "If I Were A Boy". That's the only song on the cd I like. Beyonce has a wonderful voice, but man some of those songs give me a headache!

OMGosh I a huge fan of Lelia! I'm a fan of all kinds of music. So Beyone's orginal doesnt bother me. But when I just want to chill and relax, Lelia's version of Single Ladies is perfect!

The dance that Beyonce does in the video of Single Lady was actually inspired by a Bob Fosse dance routine. There is a copy of Gwen Verdon and two back-up dancers doing the Fosse original on the Ed Sullivan Show to a song called "Mexican Breakfast".
