What is it? I see jokes all over the boards regarding "Beverly" but can't find a description of it anywhere. Please help!

It is a WONDERFUL tasting soda by COKE! You can find it at Ice Station Cool ( is that what is still called ) some one else will pipe in. I forget what country it is from though. My 3 boys just LOVED it. You have to let your family try it, just YUMMY!

Actually it is the most awful thing you will ever put in your mouth...it is very bitter but it is fun to trick people into drinking it!!

Beverly is a Drink you can sample for free at Epcot at a Coca Cola beverage free sample booth. Beverly is considered one of the worst drinks by most Americans who try it, but in other countries its a best seller and is considered quite tasty. Many Americans "set up" their friends and loved ones by offering them a sample of "the best tasting" drink at the booth, then laugh at the expressions as they manage to swallow the nasty stuff.( I am a typical American, it was awful IMHO)

Thanks everyone! I ended up looking it up on wikipedia (I swear, that site has EVERYTHING!!) and apparently it's from Italy. I'll definitely have to try it, and trick DH into trying it too. Though knowing us and our love of exotic food/drink, we may end up loving it, who knows!

It has a strong and in my opinion
rather unpleasant taste!

We enjoyed some of the other flavors,
just not the beverly! But is was interesting
to try it and see for ourselves what

It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. I wouldn't crave it, but it was definitely tolerable (I didn't cringe) I think my expectations were so low that I actually walked away with a decent impression, LMAO!

Funny thing is, I spent a lot of time in Italy the past couple years - my cousin was living there so I'd go for a few weeks at a time. I NEVER saw it there. Not once. Anywhere. We were even in big supermarkets and I didn't see it. I think it's something Coke created just for the inside joke

Someone told me about Beverly on this board before I went on my last trip. I got a cup and pretended to taste it and said "wow, now this ones good". I got my dad a cup and told him to try it. He guzzled the whole thing since I made such a nice comment on it. You should have seen his face afterwards. He was trying to spit what he had left in his mouth out and called me a couple of bad names and started to laugh. My mom was laughing and didn't know what the joke was...that is, until we had her try it.

It made a good laugh...
