Beverage costs?

Coffee, caffeinated and herbal tea bags, hot chocolate packages, hot water, and fountain sodas and iced tea are available at no additional cost on the pool deck all day and night. Those beverages and juices are also available at no extra cost at the buffet and in the dining rooms.

Specialty coffee and tea is available in Cove Cafe (for adults) and some lounges (for anyone). The main dining rooms also have specialty coffee beverages. Smoothies are available on the pool deck and in the main dining rooms. I think the costs are around $5-$8.

If you get a can of soda from the bars or room service, the cost is around $2 plus gratuity. A few times I’m lazy and don’t want to run up to the top deck to get a soda.

It's one of the things I love about DCL! Free beverages (the basics). Bring refillable mugs.

Bring refillable water bottles, there a couple of filling stations, plus at the soda fountains you can fill up your water bottles, very convenient.

However, if your budget allows you to sail Concierge than you will have all beverages free. Your fridge in your stateroom will be stock with the beverages you like. Cocktails, specialty coffe and even on the conciege sundeck...complimentary beverages.

Also want to point out that DCL allows you to bring your own non-alcoholic beverages (like sodas, bottled water, etc). Unlike the rules regarding beer or wine, the amount seems unlimited provided you can carry it through check-in and onto the ship (instead of leaving it with the porters).

When we sailed a 13-night itinerary, we filled a carry-on with a couple 12-packs of Diet Dr. Pepper and Sprite Zero so that my mother, who can't drink soda with sugar, could have more options. We still would go to the top deck for Coke Zero but it was nice having an alternative.

Even so, we did purchase a few non-alcoholic drinks, and while prices may have changed since 2023, we paid about $2 for a can of soda from the bars/movie kiosk, and it was around $8-9 for specialty non-alcoholic cocktails/smoothies.

There are also non-alcoholic drinks of the day that are around $6. We don't drink coffee so didn't order anything from Cove Cafe, but I believe the prices were similar in the the $5-8 range.

If you are a coffee drinker and don't care for the industrial taste of the free coffee, there are hot water stations on the top deck, or you can order a carafe of hot water from room service, and bring some packets of your preferred coffee (or tea!) to mix yourself. We brought our own tea bags and a box of oat milk (can't do dairy) for the morning pick-me-up.

We always just drink the free soda available. And my husband has to have milk in the morning from the buffet. I get a latte every morning from the cove which is probably $5 to $6. After 5 drinks you get one free. And we usually get a wine package for dinner based on the number of nights and a cocktail or two during the day. I don’t remember what we pay in total. But we only cruise 7 dsys or more so it adds up.
