Better to bring or rent stroller?

We are going to spend a couple of days at the parks and then are taking the Disney cruise in Sept. Our son will be 3 1/2 to 4 months old at that point. Can anyone give me advice on if it's better to bring your own stroller or to rent one from Disney? I'm sure we'll need one, just not sure how easy/economical it is to rent one?

Thanks!
Stephanie

With a child that young, I'd bring your own stroller. The strollers for rent at WDW have a hard plastic seat, with no support whatsoever for an infant. Your child wouldn't be comfortable at all, and I'd be afraid would "roll out". They are very low to the ground and aren't suitable for children under the age of 2 IMO.

From what I understand, there is no charge to rent a stroller once on board - only a $100 refundable deposit. The strollers are reported to be fairly large and clean (except for one report). You can even bring them off the ship. However, there may not be room for them on excursions or taxis once on shore. We are debating the same thing for DD3 and DD4. I am considering bringing our small umbrella strollers.

Anyone have experience with this issue? What did you do?

Edited to add - I donit think the strollers on DCL are the same as the ones in the parks.

We brought our Combi stroller for our 1 year old. It's very light weight and folds up very small so that it didn't take up much storage room in the cabin when we were not using it.
