Thanks for the update! Dinner in Parrot Cay looked awesome. I wish there was some way to get the rotation that would give us PC 3x as it looks like what we woudl like the best. I am truthfully worried over Lumieres and APallet as they do not seem to appeal to us at all when we look over the menus.

Anyway, about Key West, again loved the pictures. I will have to drag out our map and take a look at what areas you call scary. We are planning to walk to the southernmost point but also would like to see the other stuff too. A bit confused as to where to avoid. Only thing I herard is duval St is not for kids I should use Whitehead St instead? I can see more research is needed!

It is all getting me super excited tho! Just 47 more days for us!

Thanks! I wasn't a fan of PC too much but that's ok we had a good time! You can always ask for something else if you dont' like what is on the menu. All of the kitchens connect anyway! Lol! Like one night, I wanted a cookie and some ice cream for dessert and that's what Dennis got me! No problem! So it's really easy to ask for something different. They like to accommodate you!

I really can't remember what roads in Key west we took. We just followed the signs. Sorry I can't help you there! YAY only 47 days!!!!

Key West Day continued...

So we got back to the ship and what did we see?

Our very first Fish Extender gifts! YAY!

We were so excited! lol! We got a Pirate bandanna and eye patch for Pirate night and 2 luggage tags, a Caribbean themed music CD and some glow sticks! YAy!

After taking showers and getting ready, we headed off to the WD Theatre for the night's show! It was Heath Hyche the comedian and he was all too funny! We had a good time!

I love Disney's details! This was on each seat!

After the show, we ran over to Studio Sea for "Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer?" I know it was predominantly little kids but I thought it would be cute!

I took a few pics along the way...

These kids were so cute! they dressed up that way again on Pirate night!! lol!

So you walk in and they give you each a number. The game is played very similar to Who wants to be a millionaire except whoever gets in the "hot seat" is whoever's number they call!

Well, I got number 43. Sooo, the game starts....

After a few rounds, it was time to go. However, they had one more set of prizes to give away and since they didn't have time for another game, they were just going to call a random number and whoever's number they called would win! All throughout the night, every kid or adult who was called up was from Michigan. It was so funny. The host said he was going to quit asking because he assumed everyone in the room was from Michigan!

Anyway, they call random number after random number. A lot of people had left for dinner. When finally, they called number THIRTY NINE!! Aaah I won!

I took these just to...lol!

I also won a DCL Mickey Mouse paper clip thing..I'll have to take a picture of it! I was so excited! After I got up front, he asked me what my name was and I said, "KAREN and I'm NOT from Michigan!!" When I said Louisiana, some people in the room cheered!

Dinner that night was in Lumiere's. Nothing special...but the food was good!

I told Jason everyone the story I read on the DIS about a family who asked their CM to pour them some ketchup and he made bunny ears and said, "Look! I made you a Bugs Bunny!" The mom of the family was like, "WRONG CRUISE LINE BUDDY!"

Sooo...

Jason made his garnishes into Bugs Bunny! He's so silly!

For dessert, we couldn't decide so Dennis and Colin brought us one of everything!!!

After dinner, we walked around a took a few pictures!

This is the one we bought and I think it's my favorite that we took the entire cruise!

Thank you so much! In the lobby, they have all of these backdrops set up and certain times that photos are being taken. You just get in line during those times and there's a shutters photographer there to take your picture! It's all in the navigator too so you can see when pictures are going to be taken. Those kind of pictures are usually taken around dinner time.

Thank you! YAY for 6 weeks! It'll fly by! You're right it didn't dock until noon. We were eating brunch. If I called it breakfast, that's what I meant (brunch)! Whoops!

Monday, April 20, 2009 - First At Sea Day!

This is the day the "sickness" started. I wasn't feeling so hott when I woke up. I thought, great...now I have that crazy sea disease or something or maybe I ate something funny?? I dunno...anyway, what did I do? I popped some Pepto and went out to the jogging track! Haha!

The water was SO blue!!!

I wanted to run the jogging track cause I heard it was really cool! It winds down corridors and into the working parts of the ship!

Isn't that crazy?! Look at the huge chain!

ESCAAAAPEEE! haha!

The really strange part was running "backwards" against the water! It felt so funny!

The lifeboats are HUGE!!!

Haha I'm gross!

We had Palo reservations for brunch that morning....even though I wasn't feeling so great, I wanted to go anyway!

Haha these were EVERYWHERE but at Palo, the stand was just fancier! Haha!

They sat us by the window but you can't see it really well!

The backlight was too bright...

That day was the showing of HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE!!!! Of course I was so there!

You can tell Jason is soooooooo excited!

I definitely was super excited!!!

Loved the movie! I thought it was so cute!

After we watched the movie, I took the opportunity to deliver fish extender goodies!

Fun fun!

I think we rested for a while and then headed to the pool deck for some food at Goofys!

I still wasn't feeling so good but that's ok....

We then walked around to the 7th deck....I had found this "secret deck" when I was distritbuting FE gifts so I wanted to show it to Jason! There was a wedding here during our cruise but I was too sick on that day to go see it....

We got all dressed up and headed for the Walt Disney Theatre!

There were a ton of people flashing cameras like the Papparazzi and you walked in on the red carpet! It was too cool! Disney really went all out with this one!

This lady was outside interviewing kids...

Which showed on the big screen inside the theatre!

Jason and I waiting for the show to start! I'm soooooooooo sunburnt!!!

The Golden Mickeys...really a neat show! The end made me cry! lol!

After the show and before dinner, we had the Captain's Reception. We never actually saw the captain until we took a picture with him but whatever!

Anyway, they were passing around drinks...

this is a non-alcoholic something or another. It was good!

We were in Animator's Palate tonight but it wasn't the "special show" since it was a special dinner that night.

With the Captain! I don't know about you, but I sure thought that Mickey was the captain of this ship!!!
