Fantasmic dining reservation but fantasmic isn’t on

Hey,

So I originally had a fantasmic dining package booked for the Sat 13th Sept for Cafe Orleans, and we’ve since changed it to the Sunday 14th September (we managed to get a reservation, and is clearly labelled as a fantasmic dining package)

But looking at all the event calendars fantasmic isn’t on for that date. .

Anyone else managed to book for the 14th or do I need to cancel and just hope a cafe orleans one opens back up for the Sat (should have just left my reservation alone!)

So I am not in the same boat, but I have been watching the Fantasmic! dining package page closely to plan for my own trip. I also hope to go on a Sunday so have been bummed that it looks like that is not on the table (har har) anymore.

I will say that the Fantasmic! event page and dining page have had some errors lately so I am hoping there are just a bunch of dates that they need to update in the system. For example the first weekend in October was not showing up at all on their respective 60 day marks, but then a few days later they were added back on the calendar.

I think you having a dining package is a pretty good indicator that Disney plans to have Fantasmic that night, but to be safe I would recommend you try to snag a package for another date that works for you just in case Disney cancels your reservation once the discrepancy between the entertainment calendar and the dining calendar.

First, I wouldn't cancel. I would try to book the 13th and hold both reservations until you know for sure. I don't think the CO package requires a 24 hour cancellation. I believe it might just be two hours. You would most certainly know by the 13th whether Fantasmic is happening on the 14th.

Contact Disneyland, inform them of their error, and ask for their help in making reservations for the 13th. I generally receive better (more accurate) responses when I email rather than calling. Since the issue is that the entertainment schedule and dining offerings don't match, I would choose App Feedback rather than dining. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/help/email/ If the app feedback people can't help you, try reservations, dining, etc.

Maybe, but @Beccleberry91 should double check that. I was trying to cancel a RDZ F! reservation well before the two-hour mark and kept getting error messages in the Disneyland app. Mind you, the error message wasn't helpful; it just said "Cannot complete your request" or something like that. So I called guest services at the GCH and they said the cancellation window was 24 hours--but they were able to cancel it for me. This was last November.

But as you say, they'll know well before that weekend whether F! is scheduled for that Sunday night.

We’re in the same situation! We have a Fantasmic! dining package booked for August 24th, and we’ve noticed the same thing — the reservation is still active and they’re still offering it for that date, but Fantasmic! doesn’t show on the entertainment schedule. Really hoping it’s just an error in the calendar… 🤞

Exactly. I tried to book a dummy reservation to see the cancellation window, but couldn't find it. I think RBT Premium is 24 hours. I'm not sure about the others.
