sorry things didnt work out for you & DH, but the angry cynic in me says good riddance to bad rubbish
If you hadnt guessed, it happened to me too...many years ago, my DH fell in ''love'' with someone when i was 2 weeks pregnant!
2 years later she left him when he got luekemia!
What goes around really does come around!!
I look back i wonder how on earth i coped but i'm proud i did!!
He too stayed at home for the 1st 2 weeks we split & it was hell, one day i just thought ''i dont need this C!*$p'' told him he might as well go to her - he did & life got better for me.
I had some of the best times with DD when i was single, we had lots of quality time it just took some getting used to in the beginning.
You'll be fine Beth....i promise

Hey all,

Well I said I would be a bit better, and I am. Yesterday was rough. I spent 8 hours in a class. Really boring. I took Kate to dance, came home and made dinner, then I got on the computer to check my email. Jon's bimbo sent me an email of pictures of the two of them from this weekend. It led to an ugly argument. I didn't sleep at all last night.

Today, I went to work. It was busy, and we had an emergency. I handled it, and the patient came through it, and it made me feel better. I took kate to dance, and hung out with some friends in the lobby. We had a good chat about absolutely nothing to do with my failed marriage. I felt normal.

My boss gave me tomorrow off. I plan on do laundry and getting a bit more organized. I need to gather up stuff for taxes too. I also have my pilates class.

I am off to bed.

Okay, this isn't going too sound nice but here goes! If this female dog bimbo wants to send you pictures of her with your husband and the father of your daughter, then she better be prepared to face the music someday! They really do deserve each other and I hope when he does the same thing to her, she gets a nice email from the future bimbo. You handled all of that with grace and class. You are so much better than they are.

Do the best you can with the house. Right now taking care of you and Katie is the main thing. I have found through selling four homes in about a 10 year period that as long as your house is clean and priced right, it will sell. If you don't get all those rooms painted don't stress over it. People can come in and see that a coat of paint will make it their own and are usually fine with that. If Jon cannot be bothered to help how can you be expected to do it all?


through all of this Beth, you are losing weight, working out, and being there for your daughter. I am so proud of you! I know you can find a good job too. You are a winner Beth, don't forget it!

Hi All,

I have gotten quite a bit accomplished today. Right now I am cuddled up under an electric blanket with a nice cuppa tea. TOM is kicking my backside a bit today.

Kim, you didn';t go to far with your post. I simply forgot to answer your question. Jon hasn't been working. He quit his job in August with the plan to do independent consulting, but that never really happened. Just a gig here and there. Since he has no proof of income, he can't rent an apartment. It has gotten him off his ***, and he is looking for a job. Unfortunately, it will be at least 2 pay stubs to rent a place. I am probably stuck with him for the next 6 weeks. His parents told him that he couldn't move in with them.

Amy, you are right. She is a bimbo. She is separated from her own loser husband, and sleeping with 2 married men. I had really tried to not let this whole thing turn ugly, but she is certainly not making it easy. Right now, Jon and I are communicating through email. We live in the same house, and do not talk. So far, Kate hasn't noticed. She is a bright kid, and will pick up on it over the next few days.

I am headed to Lifetime in a bit. I am going to take the pilates class, and lift some weights. I am also planning on an early night. I am not sure if I can make it to journals today. I'll be honest, I probably won't be back until Friday.

Beth, enjoy your warm time under the blanket with the tea! Don't worry about journals, sometimes ya just can't get to them. Keep posting about you and the rest of us will be fine.

So Bimbo carries on with more than one married man. What a winner. Some people amaze me. You are not the one getting ugly. You have tried to be nice and have been. But you have to defend yourself sometimes. If that gets ugly, so be it! Thank God for email, you may never have to talk to Jon again! Katie will figure this out and she will also know exactly who is to blame. She is seeing you being a terrific mom, nurse and taking care of yourself. Thats quite an example you are setting! Just hang in there and keep up your hard work. You are doing great (sounds dumb to say but you are). We are pulling for you!

Beth -- I just wanted you to know that even though I haven't been here, you and Kate have been in my thoughts. I am so sorry you have to put up with your loser soon-to-be-ex and his insignificant other. I really do believe in karma, though, and I know he'll get what is coming to him.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the hugs. They are much appreciated.

I am really frustrated with work right now. My boss is an absolute coward. He is out of town for the next week, and sent me an email 2 minutes before he left. The woman that I job share with has quit. He has decided to hire another part-time nurse to fill the position rather than hire me full-time. He had told me that when Dora quits, I could have the ft position. It is his decision, and I am essentially ok with it. I knew I would need another job. What bothers me is that he couldn't tell me in person.

I will confess that I have not worked out in the last few days. TOM is kicking my backside, and I was exhausted after a few very busy days. I am heading to Lifetime after WW tomorrow.

Today was great. I had ACLS for 8 hours. This is basically a class to teach you how to run a code. We were broken into small groups for the different algorithms. My group consisted of me and 6 yummy fire fighters. Now, as long as you have a sense of humor, and know that they are all players, it can be very good for the ego to hang out with firefighters. I had fun. It has been a long time since someone has flirted with me. It was also good to take the class, and remember that I know my stuff.

Plan for the rest of the evening is to head to the mall. kate and I need to get a present for a friend, and we'll have dinner at PF Chang's. I'll have lettuce wraps. I will hit journals when we get back.

Well that will make leaving when the perfect job comes up that much easier. Send him an email when that day comes and give him your notice! I hope you and Kate have a great weekend, enjoy yourself. And the working out thing is so hard when its TOM. You know in some cultures women just get to lie low in a hut with other such afflicted gals, not a bad idea when you get down to it since they don't have to do a damned thing! Lay low and get your energy back!

So how come you guys get firefighters,we don't.I was told when I started my new job I may need to be ACLS certified but it has not come up again and I won't push it.

Never tried PF Changs, we tried to get in and it was an hr 1/2 wait.Only in WDW is it worth that

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry that I haven't been around. I have actually been productive. Shocking! In the last couple of days, I have packed up the china cabinet, entertainment center, and most of kate's playroom. I am going to wash down the walls and prep for painting in the next week. I have also been working out. Food has been so-so. Things with Jon are at a status quo.

I need to leave for the dentist in a few minutes. I hate the dentist. I need to do some grocery shopping, and take Kate to dance. I need to pack for Kate, she is going to my Mom's for the rest of the week, while I work. I am also working on laundry. Other than that, I get to relax.

I'll be by to check in with everyone this evening.
