Beth's WW Journey. (Comments Welcome)

Hey everyone,

Thanks for stopping by.

Plenty of new developments. Jon is not moving out today. He took some boxes over to his parent's place yesterday, and they said they changed their minds. He can't move in. I'm stuck with him for awhile longer. He has had some interviews for jobs. Hopefully that will pan out soon. I have a lead on a full time job. I'm overqualified, but I can land it, if I get an interview. Full time, Mon-Fri 8-5. No weekends, no call. Fingers crossed on this one.

I am suddenly in a better place emotionally and mentally. Not sure why, but I'll take it:confused3 .:confused3 I am dealing much better with Jon being in the house. We are living separate lives, just occupying the smae space. I am going to start making some improvements to the house, so I can put it on the market. My eating has been all over the place, but I am exercising. That is something I suppose.

This weekend Kate and I am going out with friends on Saturday. I think we may go to a movie tonight. We'll see.

I'm off,
Take care,
Beth

Oh, Beth, I am so sorry you are going through this and that Jon is seemingly so self-centered and oblivious to Katie's needs. Good for you for relieving some of your stress with exercise. I hope you can get back on track with your eating. Otherwise, I fear that you are letting that man assert control over this aspect of your life. You have come too far, through too much and have accomplished so much. Don't allow him to cause you to lose ground.

All that being said, I am an emotional eater myself. And I can really relate. I hope you will feel free to PM me (or any of your journal buddies) if you need support. I would be glad to help in any way I can.

Beth -- I just saw your post about improving the house. I am not sure of the law in your state, but be sure to save receipts for every penny you spend on the house so that you can try to get reimbursed for those expenses from the sale proceeds before the net profit is allocated.

Good luck, sweetie!

 Beth,

I am so sorry for all that you are going through. :( I hope that you get an interview for that job.

I am so proud of you for keeping up with your exercise. It can really help to alleviate stress. Keep up the good work!:goodvibes

Sending lots of prayers your way, WISH sis!

Hi Beth! Just thinking of you and wanted to stop by. I am so happy to hear you are in a better mental place. I hope you are still there today. I hope you girls had a good weekend. Movies and friends! :goodvibes Are the nightmares getting any better? I hope so.

Take care!

 Beth,

Just wanted to send a hug your way and let you know that I'm thinking about you. Take good care of you!

Hi Everyone,

Things remain unchanged here this week. I really need to set aside some time to journal. Right now, I am working full time this week, and I have caught a cold. I'm not feeling too badly though. I continue to workout daily, and my trainer has really upped the weights and exercises. I was pretty sore on Monday. Tomorrow a couple of friends talked me into taking the fitness pilates class.

Jon has 3 interviews tomorrow, and he got an offer today, so things are starting to improve there.

I am still in a pretty good emotional place. Sunday was a bit difficult, but I seemed to snap out of it. katie has settled down and is sleeping better. It looks like I didn't get an interview for the job. The posting was removed from careerbuilder, and I didn't get a call.:confused3

Okay, I have a kitchen to clean up before going to bed.

Take care,
Beth

 Beth! I've missed you and just caught up on your journal. Just wanted to pop in and say I've been thinking about you. Please let me know how you enjoy the Pilates class tomorrow!!! :goodvibes I'd love to hear how it went.

Take care of yourself sweetie!!!!

Hi Beth -

I just wanted to stop by and say hello :) Glad that you are feeling a bit better emotionally. Hang in there buddy.

Hi, Beth. Sorry I have been MIA from your journal for so long. Life seems to take over sometimes and journaling suffers when it does!

I am glad you are in a pretty good place right now. I am sure your job situation will pan out when you need it to most - there's no way that someone with your qualifications won't be able to find the right position. It just may take some time.

Glad that Kate is doing okay and that things are progressing as well as you can expect them to. I am SO PROUD of you for keeping up with your exercise. It is a testament to how dedicated you are to your good health and it's a great thing to see! Good lesson for me as I keep trying to get back to a better physical condition.

Hope your cold is better and you're feeling well. Have a good weekend!

Susan

Hi All,

Well, Jon took the job, so he should be moving out in the next 6 weeks. Things are not awful, but it is a bit tense an awkward. I am slowly getting over this cold. I have continued to exercise daily. It has been helping me tremendously. I am now hooked on the pilates class. I took another one today, and I am trying the fitness yoga class with a friend tomorrow. My abs are killing me though.;) Now that I have taken a class, I :worship: Amy even more than before. I can't imagine doing the hours she puts in.

I went to the doctor today for a checkup. I am now off my BP medication, and if the doc's scale is accurate, I will be getting my 50 pound loss award tomorrow at weight watchers. I am really excited.

Tomorrow I go to WW, yoga class and cardio (If I can stand upright), grocery shopping, then Kate and I will have dinner with my parents. We are getting together for my bday. It's not until Monday. I have never been hung up on bdays. It has never been a big deal, but I just want this one to go away, you know?

Sunday I have an appointment with my trainer, shopping with a friend, and then Katie and Jon go to dinner with inlaws. Monday is also my MIL's bday. I need to work on a couple of cover letters. I would really like to get one of the jobs posted.

I am off to bed,
Take care,
Beth

Hi Beth,
First CONGRATULATIONS on 50 lbs.!!!!!! Great job!!!!! I am glad you remain focused on yourself and Kate of course. When we feel good physically it always helps the mental part be a little easier.

Too bad about the job but it will come this may not have been the one for you.

I would love to hear about your pilates, I want to try.

Keep up the great work,
Linda

Beth,

First of all let me say I am so, so sorry you are going through this with John. You have been through so much and didn't deserve to have this happen. I am really proud of you for the way you are handling things. The fact his own parents don't want him in their home speaks volumes for the way he is handling life right now. But you are thinking of your daughter first and that is something for you to be proud of. I know you will get through this Beth, I hope you will let me know if I can help. I am giving out a big hug to you and Katie.

And of course I am super proud that you have now lost 50 pounds! :worship: That is just incredible and with what you are going through that you use exercise to de stress is amazing. You have literally worked your a** off woman!

That job was probably not right for you, a better one will be there for you. I hope things with the house go well, make Jon get over there and get it ready for sale. And I agree with Keenercam, save your receipts and log your time spent. That documentation may come in handy.

Just hang in there and know that I am pulling for you. I am back in the groove and here for you just as you have been for me.

Love,
Amy
