I need some new workout songs. I downloaded Blackeyed Peas' "I gotta feeling" and "Boom boom pow" recently and I want more like that. I'm very ecclectic with my music, my fave band right now is Lady Antebellum. So what are your fave workout songs??

The new Black Eye Peas song, "Imma be" is great! Basically anything by the B.E.P.'s is good!
I also like Don't Stop by The Freestylers
Shewolf by Shakira
Sexy Chick by David Gueta and Akon

Try out looking up Techo, maybe? It is good workout music since the beat is very fast and repetitive.

My current unique band is Owl City. Not sure if you can work out to it however it is "happy" weird music.

I teach exercise -so I spend a lot of time on this kind of thing

See if you like any of these

Evacuate the Dance Floor -Cascada
When Love Takes Over -David Guetta
Tic Tock -Kesha
So What -Pink
Love Generation -Bob Sinclair
Lollipop -Mika
Blame it on the Girls -Mika
Hey Ya -Outkast
Ojos Asi-Shakira
Waking up In Vegas -Katy Perry
Pregate -Ricky Martin
Animal -Kesha
Mercy-Duffy
The Boy Does Nothing -Alesha Dixon

I have loads -if you want some older classic rock or 80s type suggestions let me know

Hah, I was gonna suggest Imma Be too :)

Let's see; Pitbull does a couple of songs that work REALLY well with my elliptical runs. "I Know You Want Me" and "Hotel Room Service", if you don't mind suggestive lyrics :) Ummm, "Jump" by Flo Rida/Nellie Furtado is good, most Lady Gaga is good to get you up to the really fast cardio part. "3" by Britney is awesome for the high-end of your workout, and "Evacuate the Dancefloor" is good too. That's all I can think of right now, without my iPod in front of me...

Here are my faves (my music is eclectic too):

"Rainy Monday" by Shiny Toy Guns
"Major Tom" by Shiny Toy Guns
"Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga
"Poker Face" by Lady Gaga
"Best Of You" by Foo Fighters (or is it Best of Me??)
"Stronger" by Britney Spears
"Rhythm Divine" by Enrique Iglesias
"Nothin' But a Good Time" by Poison
"Damaged" by Danity Kane
"Encore" by Linkin Park/Jay Z
"Heaven" by Cascada
I have a lot of recent Pink songs too.

I go through songs fast though. I usually listen for a couple of weeks and then have to find new (or old) songs.

You gotta sneak in an "Eye of the Tiger" and "Momma Said to Knock you Out" I laugh out loud every time Eye of the Tiger comes on when I am at the gym, and everyone around me looks at me funny. But it is so fun!

:rotfl:

I have a few playlists for the gym:

ELO's greatest hits- Don't Bring Me Down, Livin' Thing, Mr. Blue Sky & Turn To Stone for cardio. The slower stuff like Strange Magic and Can't Get It Out of My Head for strength training.

I also have a Cake playlist and a Misc. list with music from Stayin' Alive soundtrack, ABBA, Earth Wind & Fire, etc.

Last week, I accidentally selected a playlist that I had been using for a learning tool for a concert earlier this year.....Mozart's Vespers. The 1st movement hits the ground running and I decided to just use it. It was exhilarating to sing and great for pumping through my cardio routine. I think I'll scour other major works for similar high tempo, musical roller coaster pieces. They say Mozart makes you smarter....maybe it will help make me thinner.....:lmao:
