Have you stayed here? Gets pretty good reports on tripadvisor, would love your thought.

This resort just became a Best Western. They have been in the process of remodeling for the last year or so. They used to be a LaQuinta and a Ramada. ( IF I am thinking of the right one). I have never stayed there, but I have driven by there several times.

it was LaQuinita but before it was a Sheraton.

they use to allow pets. the new ownership does not. So I won't be staying there again.

I won a priceline auction for 2 nights next week at 30 each -half off what the lowest price was! I will post a report when we get back.

We have just got back from BW lakeside. Some people knock this place and after one of our previous visit (as a La Quinta) I could see why, rooms were tired etc.
Gave it another chance as we like the position near Maingate. Glad we did, room had been remodeled. They are still in the long process of remodeling the whole resort, One of the pools was closed while we were there.
They do different packages with different companies.
As we were from UK travelling with Virgin we got free UK newspaper every day, $3.50/ resort fee waived(includes safe, fridge, coffee provisions), unlimited soda from child anytime, free cocktail.
Some deals include Breakfast.
Wireless internet in Lobby.
Will be looking to stay there again next August.
Personally I prefer here to budget Disney hotel.

That's a great price from Priceline.
How many stars is it? I have considered bidding, but would really like a refrig in room--do most 2/2.5 stars have them?

PLEASE let me know what you think!

I don't know if most do or not but in my experience the hotels they use as examples all had refridges in the room. I was really glad it did, since we are FL residents we always go for day trips and rarely stay over but are doing it to celebrate birthdays and was looking to stay real cheap! After the $30 bid was accepted I said maybe I should have tried $25 :) but beggars can't be chosers! Iwas looking to spend no more than 40 for one night and then decided to stay 2 so thought that 30 was good to start at.
