Best ways to save on DVC dues?

I signed up for automatic withdrawal from my checking to pay my monthly dues when I bought years ago. I know I should be paying some other way (discounted gift cards, cc rewards etc.) How do you maximize your savings? I'm thinking of buying another contract so small savings will really add up.

I earn free gift cards with sites like Swagbucks to pay my dues. Some months I fall short and then try to find a discounted route for OOP gift cards.

I buy the gift cards through Target so I basically save 5% on my annual dues.

I save for our annual dues by making an automatic transfer to an online savings account each month. That way the dues earn a minimal amount of interest throughout the year. Then I use a credit card with 5% cashback at wholesale clubs to buy GCs from BJ's over Black Friday (8% off in 2018, 6% in 2019). Stacking those strategies together, we end up getting about 11% off versus the option to make an automatic payment (when BJ's is at 6%).

BJ's does require a $10 online membership but if you time it right, that'll cover two years worth of purchases.

I watch for discounted DGC all year (BJ's, Sam's, Raise, etc.) and use a CC with airline credits to pay for the DGC and the plane tickets. Just checked and 2019 DGC, in total, I saved 12.76% for the 2020 dues.
