Best way...

...to get to Cape May (Beach Club) from Hollywood Studios?

The boat :goodvibes. You CAN walk, but it's a good little hike!! If I remember right, the stops are S&D, BC, then BW, so if you're impatient, you could get off at the S&D and walk to the BC- that's not too far. :thumbsup2 We prefer just to sit and cruise on the boat- it's fun.

There are three options:

1. Walking (it's about 1 mile from DHS to the Beach Club)
2. The boat (it will take between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on where you get off)
3. A taxi (not really practical, but still an option)

My family would always choose the boat because it's more relaxing than walking, plus we're not a big fan of extra walking in the heat and humidity of Florida!

As the PP indicated, the boat makes three stops (S/D, YC/BC, and BW). You can get off at the S/D stop and walk to the BC or wait until the next stop at YC/BC. (Note that the boat dock is closer to the YC than the BC.)

I would say boat or walk. My family prefers to walk. We tried a boat once but it just sat there and waited to get full. Then, it stopped at BWV first. If you have the time; take the boat. Else, walk. We really didn't find the walk bad at all. Nice sidewalk around the beautiful lake.

I am drawing a blank here but where is there a lake next to Hollywood Studios? Where do you board the boat?

When you exit DHS, the buses are over to the right, the boat is to the left. As you walk out of the park, walk straight, rather than towards the buses. You will see the boat dock over on the left, down a small slope.

I tend to walk, rather than take the boat. The walk to BC is about 15 mins. The boat ride is about 20. But, when taking the boat, you have to add in wait times. If you can see the boat at the dock, or just heading into the dock, then the boat is a good option. But, if the boat is pulling away from the dock, you are going to have a 15 min wait until the next one gets there. And then they sit for about 5-10 mins depending on how many guests are within eye sight of the captain. They will wait for guests to get to the boat if it's not already full...which is nice for that guest but adds time for those already on the boat.

The walkway is in the same direction....just keep walking past the end of the canal (where the boat dock is. Walk with the canal on your left, the parking lot on your right. You will come to a slope down in the pathway..signage will say 'To Boardwalk'....go down this, follow the walkway (nicely lit and flat). When you get to the end of the walkway, head to the left (towards the S/D)..when you get to the top of the hilly part of the bridge, go right and over the bridge. You are now at YC...keep walking a bit and you'll be at BC. Or you can just go into YC and head to BC that way..you will have to go outside for a bit by the pool but it goes back inside again.
