I want to plan a trip to Vero Beach. Are there certain units reserved for DVC members? I'm not one, but I wondered if there's a way to rent a week or is it better to just book it on your own. Is there a big price difference?
Thanks!
VB is a Disney DVC resort, but like all DVC resorts they will accept cash reservations depending on availability. You do not need to be a DVC member to stay there.
VB is a wonderful resort, well worth visiting. You sure can feel the Disney magic.
You can also look for discounts. The Birnbaum guide to WDW usually has a coupon in the back for a discount at Vero and the Disney Club also offers discounts from time to time. Based on availability, you can book any of the size units from Beach Cottage to Garden View Inn Room.
Just returned from a stay at VB, yesterday. On Monday, a very lucky family walked in off the street, so to speak, and rented a GV for cash! They were thrilled!
Check www.mousesavers.com for discounts. Last year, we were able to get a discount over Xmas/New Year's that amounted to about $4 per point. We had to check-in though on or before Xmas day.
