We booked a package (at the discounted rate for the time period) for this September. Room+7 day park hoppers.
Then I was able to score Princess run tickets so we booked another package (no special rate) for February. Room+7 day park hoppers.
The notion just struck me that it would probably be cheaper to buy annual passes and book room only. I think that it will save me at least $500 if not more.
Only problem is our current category of room for the September stay is sold out so I can't verify that savings for sure by booking that room and then canceling our existing package reservation if the math works out.
Do I need to call a CM to remove the tickets from both of my stays so that I don't lose my September room? Also, can they add on an AP discount to those room only rates and is there an AP discount on top of the special rates this fall? My understanding is that you can book AP rates and then just have to activate your AP before your check in to get those rates but I haven't bought an AP in over 20 years.
