best way to get to carsland

we are staying at pph and I was wondering what the best way to get to carsland was. We don't want to waste our extra hour wondering around. I figure its best to at least have a idea of where we are going

You get on Route 66 and head west.

If your at PPH, wouldn't you have to head east?

If you go through the GCH, you can go through the wharf area to get into CarsLand.

I would go to the main gate to enter and be there early. Then simply follow the other early entry people.

Getting to Cars Land is easy. Actually getting on a ride? Not so much. I have lovely pictures of Cars Land. But was never able to actually get on a ride as the main one, Radiator Spings Racers was out of commission and the tens of thousands of people waiting for it went to the two other rides available at 110 minute waits. Yes, down for the entire day...great. I only had one day. So, just took pics for my relatives and went somewhere else. The Date? Friday the 13th of July.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting on Mater's during early entry. DH and I rode it today at about 5:15 and we waited exactly 15 minutes. The highest I saw it at any point was 20 and we popped into the area at least 4 times. We love the way it looks, so we just always ended up there.

The shortest I saw RSR was 100 minutes standby and Luigis was 60 mins at 9 am. I would try to get on those during your hour if you can.

Also, don't forget that fast passes are not distributed until 8 am. If you want one, get in line at least a few minutes before that. That way you don't have to worry about getting one as much.
