best way to book?

We're looking at booking for September 2012 with the free dining offer. Is it best to book on disney's website or through a travel agency? I have AAA - I'm not sure if they offer discounts as well. We don't have to go during free dining if we can get a better deal at another time. What have you found to be the best deal? Also, is there a way to check if you have a PIN online? I have received them in my email in the past, but it's been a while since I've seen one.

Book Direct with Disney or use an authorized Disney Travel Agent such as AAA. You can only apply ONE Discount, no piggybacking. Ask your AAA Agent to compare the Costs between any AAA discount that ' might ' be available and the New Free Dining Offer, your AAA Agent can book the Free Dining Offer for you or any Disney Promotion. The Free Dining is a good deal but depends on the Level of Resort, the Number of Adults and Number of Kids and the Length of your stay as to how much you can save compared to a Room Discount
There aren't any other offers at the present but there should be a Nice Fall Discount, at some point, hopefully

AAA codes are never spectacular - kind of a use if nothing else available type of thing. I always start with using that code and then upgrade later if something better becomes available - like FD. Also, to find out a AAA rate, you can call disney direct and they will tell you and apply that if you prefer. For example for a moderate, it may be 10 percent. If you add up the cost of the FD plan for your family you can see what the value is there, and it is usu. better., in my experience.
