Best Way To Book?

I'm SOOO excited to book our first Disney vacation for September 2010. Would I be better off going through a travel agent to do this or just book online at disneyworld.com? We're driving so we don't need airline tickets. Just curious what everyone else does on here to save money??? Thanks!!!

I like to book it myself directly. That way if I have any questions or want to make changes I don't have to go through someone else to do it.

I agree with pp. I always book our trips myself through Disney's website. I made the mistake of booking through our travel agent for our cruise...was hoping to get on board credits. Anyway...I swore I would NEVER do that again. I hated not being able to call Disney directly and get an answer to my question.

I would book with Disney directly, but I like CALLING. Their website automatically upgrades your room, tickets, dining plan, etc. so you have to undo everything you don't want, waiting to update your page each time. I think it is slow.

The folks on the phone are all great, and so personable.
