Best way From POR to Boardwalk?

Hi Everyone !

On December 6th, I will be checking OUT of POR, and then checking into a Boardwalk villa.
After checking into BWV, I know that my room will not be ready yet, so I plan to then walk over to Epcot while BWV keeps my luggage.

I'm not sure how I want to do this, though.

I could have Disney transfer the luggage, while I take the boat from
POR to Downtown. Then take the Disney bus to BWV.

OR

I could just get a cab from POR to The Boardwalk. luggage and all.
How much do you think this will cost, and how long do you think I'll have to wait to get the cab?

You should know that this is a solo vacation for a 50 year old woman.

I would have POR send your luggage. Go to Epcot, and when you are done go and check in at BWV. They will hold your luggage for you. It also takes time to transfer, and you might end up getting there before your luggage!

If you decide to do the cab, plan on $12-$15, including a tip for the driver.
