Best waitlist chances

I want to waitlist a resort in Oct during food and wine for a Thu-Sat. Do you think I would have better chances at Boardwalk or Beach Club and what view would give me the best odds?

I think you're allowed two wait list requests at a time??
If so, you should do both! I would imagine it's the points, not the view that will make a difference. Studio's are probably the hardest to get, then 1 br, etc.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but last year I wait listed the minute MS opened on the morning of my 7 month window for BC 1 br and it never came through - and it was only for one night! The other nights were available when I called that morning, but that first night never came through, I wound up doing a split stay - which was fine - I LOVE AKL.....

BCV is a smaller resort and more popular (partly due to SAB - a sandy-bottom pool that no one but BCV guests can use.)

BWV is a larger resort so your best bet will likely be a preferred view (nonboardwalk) 1BR. BW views and lower-cost standard views are very popular for BWV owners and can be tough to get at 7 months out in general. 1BRs have the same max occupancy as studios but cost much more, so they tend to be the last to go.

you can waitlist one other room type...i don't know if a preferred (nonBW) view studio at BWV or a 1BR at BCV is a better bet...but at 5-ish months out, for an epcot resort during food&wine...i honestly will be a little surprised if the waitlist ever comes through...

My waitlist for BCV just came through today, whooo! It's for August though, not October. Seven nights, 1 bedroom.

Mid March- at the 7 month mark. They got a one bedroom.

I did a waitlist last year for a studio for NYE and was told my best chance was to waitlist BCV and garden/pool view at BWV. We ended up getting BCV about 2 months out.
