Best View??

Hello! we are staying in a 2 bedroom at SS and I have a question:

1-I read on another thread that the Springs is closest to everything,-does the Springs also have a view of Downtown Disney?

2-is the Springs close to the main pool?

Thanks-I am very excited-I have been a member for almost 2 years but this will be my first trip to SS.

The Springs are the 3 buildings right accross from the main pool & the Artists Pallette. Some rooms have a view of DTD. Congress Park is the 4 bldg's on the water directly accross from DTD. They have the best view of DTD

We prefer Congress Park (for the view of DD and also the small pool there) but we always have a car so if we want to go the main pool, we just drive there.

If you want a view of DTD from the Springs, you'd better have a pretty good set of eyes. No front on view (only looking through the other sections). Congress Park has the best views of DTD.

We stayed on the 4th floor of building 4 in the Springs. Though we couldn't see DTD very well (except for the top of the Cirque de Soleil building), we could see the fireworks at both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom from our balcony every night - kinda neat! (FYI - our balcony faced the entrance to the main pool area)
