We are planning a vow renewal at Disney in January and want to come up with a fabulous vegetarian entree choice (this would also work for our friends who need a Kosher meal).
What vegetarian entree is your favorite at Walt Disney World Resort? We are sending in the materials for our menu tasting session and I'd like to at least suggest a couple of vetarian options for the chef to prepare.

Thanks!

I liked the veggie lasagna at Chefs de France, the tamales appetizer at Jiko and the mac&cheese there, also the tofu skewers at coral reef were good. i love, love, love the new asian noodles @ ohana too!

I liked the seared marinated tofu at the Sci-Fi Dine-in. :)

Oh my gosh, I hope so too! I thought it looked really good and so did my mom who is not even a vegetarian, so we both ordered it. Neither of us could finish it - it was that bad! At least the dessert was good :)

It wasn't on the menu, but they created a vegetarian noodle type bowl for my daughter. It was huge, and super yummy!

WOW! All of these options sound intriquing! Someone on my thread on the weddings side of the DIS also suggested a penne with artichoke cream sauce & julienne vegetables. I am not sure if this is served anywhere on property.

Has anyone had it?

My favorite entree is the Potato Chive Pot Stickers with edamame, spinach and soy vinaigrette from Artist Point. I also enjoyed the salad (Mixed Greens Salad - Roasted Beets, Hazelnut Gremolata, Echo Mountain Blue Cheese, Blackberry Vinaigrette) and Cheese Plate (A Selection of Artisan Cheeses with riesling-poached raisins, dried cranberries and walnut toast) when we dined at Artist Point.

They did have a wonderful vegetarian entree at Rose & Crown, but it has been replaced with another one. The old one was julienned veggies (carrots, onions, peppers, etc.) seasoned with curry, wrapped in a phyllo dough and served with a mustard cream sauce. It was divine!

The new one is some sort of curried root vegetable mixture served with "grains"??? Haven't had it, so I can't tell you how it is. But if they'll still make you the other one, it is great!

This is a great thread! I'm a vegetarian heading for WDW in 3 weeks... I now know what to order at Whispering Canyon (or should I?), but we also have ADR's at LeCellier, Turf Club, Wolfgang Puck, California Grill, and Tusker House. Any suggestions on what I should order?

I think that every vegetarian should try Boma at WDW, so many amazing vegetarian choices! You can't go wrong there!

I agree! We went last year and I loved it. That's one reason why we chose Tusker House this year; everyone is saying it's a lot like Boma...

We had a fantastic lunch at Tusker House in January. There were so many veggie choices I could not count.

DON'T GO! Actually, you might as well try it or you will never know! However I am not a picky eater and really had a hard time with that enchilada entree. Everyone advised me against WCC but I still went just to try it for myself. It was my family's least favorite of the trip, though. I'm trying San Angel for dinner next time and that gets bad reviews as well but I still want to try it for myself!

As for the other restaurants, I've never been but would love to hear how it goes!
