Best VEGETARIAN entree in WDW?

Absolutely love this dish at Jikos (Animal Kingdom Lodge):
Grains, Peas, and Vegetables - Black garbanzo peas, kamut, quinoa, pearl and black barley, and wheat berries with roasted veggies, and seared tandoori tofu. - $19.00

I almost don't want to post it because I love Jiko's and I don't want it getting too crowded. :lmao:

haha, by the time I got to Jiko last trip I was sooo sick of tofu so I made a meal of the tamales and the mac & cheese!

This is a great thread! I'm a vegetarian heading for WDW in 3 weeks... I now know what to order at Whispering Canyon (or should I?), but we also have ADR's at LeCellier, Turf Club, Wolfgang Puck, California Grill, and Tusker House. Any suggestions on what I should order?

Le Cellier changes the menu periodically but I have always been happy with their vegetarian dishes. I see a mushroom ravioli listed on current online menus that sounds similar to an entree I tried there several years ago. I've also enjoyed the salads at Le Cellier too.

Good luck and enjoy! :)

The Penne with artichokes is served by the Turf club. It is good.

For the person going to WCC: Call the chef and ask them make you something special. To get a chef call the dining line and ask them for the contact number for the WCC chef.

For the person going to mexico: Try the corn soup - my friend who is a veg loved it . (I can't have dairy)

Also if you go to Boma, ask for chef TJ.

Just got back yesterday!

The best vegetarian entree I had was the ravioli at California Grill... soft little puffs filled with spinach and cheese and topped with a light sauce with peas... it was delicious!

The worst vegetarian entree I had? Well, let's just say I should have listened to Cinderelly.:sad2:
