We are going to Disneyland for New Year's Eve. The situation we're in right now as a country has really rattled us -- to put it mildly. I almost cancelled our family's trip -- but I won't because that will then mean the terrorists have scored one more (even if minor) victory.
Having said that... we plan to drive down from Northern California. There will be four to five adults (as much as seven if my folks join us) plus an infant. What is the best van out there in the rental market to accommodate this size of a group plus baggage (keep in mind that a few of us are princess-types who need to carry tons of make-up, etc.) In addition, we'll have a stroller and a bunch of baby things. One thing I've considered is telling my folks to drive down separately if it looks like we can't all fit -- baggage and all.
Our priorities are in this order:
1.) Safety
2.) Comfort
3.) Spaciousness
4.) Ease of getting an 89 year old off and on the van (she can walk just fine -- just has some stiffness -- especially after being in one position for awhile).
Would love all feedback you can offer.
