Hi all. We've just booked OKW for Nov 2012 :cool1: and I'm already looking at the best places to eat.

What, in your opinion, is the best use of your snack credit (ie. if you are wanting 'food' as opposed to a drink/ice cream) and which eatery can they be found at? I believe pastries are available at certain places - these type of things.

Thinking of using my snack credit as a 'put me on' a couple of hours or so before lunchtime so any good tips/ideas gratefully received.

Thanks in advance :goodvibes Lesley

We love the baked goods at Kringla Bakeri (Epcot) and Starring Rolls (DHS).

We'll be down in early November 2012 and we plan on saving most of ours for the F&WF. We did this last year and got some really good deals from it like a lobster pie that was $8 with a snack credit.

If you're going after the F&WF some great places we got some stuff was a stuffed pretzel @ AK, some pastries at Starring Rolls in HS, and some cinnimon rolls @ Main St. Bakery. We also used some to grab muffins at the hotel for breakfast in the morning.

Sometimes I think planning the meals is the most fun. I already have our ADRs planned out, now I just have to wait until May so I can try and get them.:goodvibes

Cinnamon rolls at Main St. Bakery - make an excellent breakfast the next morning if you pick them up on your way out of the park

Toasted spiced almonds in Adventureland (not sure if they can be found anywhere else on site)

I'm really trying, and I just can't figure out what F&WF means.

Thanks guys :thumbsup2 That is exactly the kind of food examples I was after. I love cinnamon and like the idea of the rolls. We are going first 2 weeks in Nov - specifically for the F&WF - I adore it

I keep seeing this, how nice do they really taste the next morning? Just wondering...mum and I will probably have some cereal in the mornings but wouldn't mind sharing a pastry as well :)

a ham and cheese croissant from the Boulangerie Patisserie in France at EPCOT. Have them bake it. It is soooo yummy!

Chicken fried rice at the Yak & Yeti CS in AK.

My 6 snacks for last week were:

AK-Cotton Top Tamarin Cupcake at Kusafiri
MK-Fudge Brownie Sundae at Storybook Treats
MK-Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel at Lunching Pad
Ep-Napoleon at Boulangerie Patisserie
Root Beer Float at Fountainview Cafe
HS-Red Velvet Cupcake at Starring Rolls

plus I snuck in the Oreo BonBon Cupcake as a dessert for a CS meal.

Now if I could only have gotten my 5 year old on the same wavelength as me. One time she chose Cheetos, another a sugar cookie, although she did get that large cinnamon roll at Starring Rolls and she finished it.

I love the cinnimon nuts and dole whip in adventure land. Also make your own treat at goofy's. If on the last day you have a lot left hit a candy shop and get lollipops and giant jaw breakers to take home, they keep well in the freezer. Or great stocking stuffers around Christmas. Also souviners for kids that did not go with you, like nephews, ect. you see at the holidays!

Where are the Oreo BonBon cupcakes?:confused3

Two all time favorite snacks -

MK: Main Street Bakery - Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich, two of their HUGE chocolate chip cookies with fresh scooped ice cream in the middle.

DHS: The Writer's Stop - Carrot Cake Cookies - two fresh baked carrot cake cookies with cream cheese frosting sandwiched in between

I need some good advice. My family and I just booked our vacation for September and are taking advantage of the free dining offer. We have never been able to take advantage of this offer before, so I need some good ideas on the best use of these credits. I know about the basic popcorn, ice cream bars, dole whips and drinks, but what I am looking for are unique items that they don't tell you about in the brochure. Give me your opinion on the best snack value from each park as well as the Downtown Disney area. Thanks in advance!!

There are so many great places you can use your snack credits. At Epcot you can get Crepes at Chefs de France kiosk or ham/cheese croissant @ Boulangerie Patisserie. Germany, Karamel Kurche supposedly has yummy stuff. Joy of Tea, China, has a chicken curry pocket I have heard rave reviews about. Germany, pretzels.

Main Street bakery has tons of yummy things! Funnel Cakes in Liberty Square.

HS...Starring Rolls has lots of yummy cupcakes. Writers Stop also has some yummy goodies.

AK...Kusafari Bakery.

Those are just a few.
