Last year we had a meal at the Palm restaurant over at HRR. We would like to try somewhere different this year but equally as good as the Palm. Where are your favourite Universal Resort Restaurant? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. Mara

Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific. Great service and wonderful food.

The Kitchen @ HRH is pretty good also.Make sure you try Bubba Gump @ CW.US got this one right with the food, service, atmosphere @ service.:thumbsup2
Yes I said sevice twice, we didn't have to waite for nothing.

I've got kind of a different answer, not sure if it qualifies though. My favorite restaurant at a Universal Resort is the room service at RPR. :)

We did room service at RPR for Thanksgiving dinner last year, and I was surprised that it was actually one of the best meals we had the whole time we were on vacation. There was turkey and gravy, stuffing, asparagus, rolls, salad, and even pie for dessert. It was really incredible!

(Not cheap though - I think around $50 each. :scared1: )

We did go to Tchoup Chop once years ago, and I know I'm in the minority but I really didn't care for it. The service wasn't bad (it did take a long time to get the food though), but the food just wasn't anything to write home about in my very humble opinion. However, we went when they first opened, and they might be a lot better now. We'll probably give it another shot next time we stay out there. Everyone I talk to says they like that restaurant so I think we just had a rare experience. :)

IMO there is no restaurant at UO that compares with The Palm, but Mama Della's is very close. :thumbsup2

We are going back and going back to Tchoup Tchoup and I am excited. We get the chef's menu which is a multi-course meal that brings out samples of the chef's favorites paired with a glass of wine. You get to taste a lot of different foods and it can be done without the wine service.

Mama Della's---is that the little Italian restaurant at the Portofino? If it is, that is also one we usually hit when we are there. My parents join us for a few days and I think it reminds my father of growing up. LOL!

The chicken noodle soup you get from room service at RPR is really yummy too!
