We need a TS in Epcot...we have a vegetarian, 3 other adults and 6 kiddos! I have heard pretty good things about Coral Reef if we can get by the aquarium. I don't know what their kids menu looks like though. Any thoughts on others!!!:confused3

thanks!

If you go to allearsnet.com - all the menus are listed (including the kiddos). That may help you decide. :)
We love Coral Reef .... we have eaten several meals there and have always been happy with the food. The service can be a bit slow. I agree that Garden Grill is fun for the kids, not sure how much a vegetarian would enjoy it though.
Some of our kids favorite places are Via Napoli, San Angel and Teppan Edo.
Lots of people like Biergarten in Germany - the food doesn't appeal to us, but the atmosphere is really fun. :)

At Coral Reef, larger parties are often seated in the back. We were a party of 6 and were seated in a booth in the last row of the restaurant. While it was a nice place, the kids were so far away from the aquarium that the atmosphere really didn't make a difference. If you are considering Coral Reef, make sure to check on this. Also, with more than 8 people you could go through the Grand Gathering department (if you are not already). They might have more information about table layouts.

Garden Grill is one of only restaurants to which we would NOT return. Just wasn't at all impressed with the food (for adults or kids). We also did not care for Biergarten though it was a fun atmosphere.
My 6 year-old loves Coral Reef and we always try to go there. Teppan Edo might fit the bill for all, you could sit together, too. We're trying that for the first time in a few weeks.

Coral Reef is nice, we had a good meal (though salty). Food gets mixed reviews. The kiddos enjoyed it.

Teppan Edo - I've never been there, as we have teppanyaki at home, but it's entertaining.

Biergarten - with a group that size, you won't have to worry about the communal seating and the entertainment is fun for kids. The food is good, not great. But the atmosphere is loads of fun for kids and beer drinkers.

Akershus if you have a lot of princess afficianados.

I haven't tried any of these but Via Napoli (you can get big pizzas and share) or the two Mexican restaurants.

Teppan Edo. The chefs will keep the kids entertained and the communal seating works well with big parties. Same with Biergarten in Germany. Looooong tables and lots of polka ish music.

We went to Biergarten with 5 kids and everyone... adults and children... had a great time! The buffet has something for eveyone and the kids will love the dance floor and polka band!

I've done all of the Epcot restaurants and I think Biergarten is the most fun, especially with that many kids in the party. Love the oompah-loompah band and the dancing. The food is pretty good and for us, better than we had anticipated.

Coral Reef has no larger parties tables down by the tanks. The tables are all for parties of 4 and 2. The next row is booths that maybe could seat 6 each with kids in there but definitely not more than that. The last time we ate there as a party of 11 they seated us in the middle tier, 6 at a table and 5 at a booth.

I would do Les Chefs, it is large group "friendly" because they have more tables than booths and will adapt their "menu" to anyones likes or dislikes. Also if you are looking to go outside of Epcot, take a walk over to the ESPN club at the Boardwalk through the World Showcase entrance, it is a lot more casual.

I agree that Biergarten is a good choice. There are lots of options, it already has the group atmosphere and theres dancing for the kids. I personally love the food at Biergarten and make sure we visit every trip.

I would pick Biergarten, Teppan Edo(you would probably be in the same room but different tables), or GG(as long as you don't mind being split up at different tables).

Another vote for Biergarten. I'm not vegetarian, but I'm not a huge fan of meats, esp there. I could LIVE on their tomato salad, cucumbers, bread and OH, the desserts!!

Biergarten is probably the most fun for kids of any of the Epcot restaurants. Teppan Edo second.

Nothing against Biergarten - I know it's a ton of fun and has lots of fans - but it's not a great option for vegetarians. Teppan Edo is delicious and entertaining, but as has already been mentioned, your group will be at separate tables/grills here (I think each seats 8 people?). We were seated in different rooms for our large group last time. If your vegetarians eat seafood, Coral Reef is great, but can't comment on the tables for a group that size. We loved Via Napoli and they do have large tables if I remember correctly. My personal favorite meal last trip.

biergarten, its a buffet but the kids can interact with the performers and have fun. It looks cool inside as well.
