Best Transportation (price & reliability)

Hi everyone. I'm looking to find out which transportation companies in Orlando are preferred by all of you. Please base your response both on price and reliability.

I've used Cartier a few times. They have competitive rates with the other providers and I feel safe going back to them over and over again

We just returned and used the LYNX public buses to and from the airport. Round trip was a total of $2.50!

It was easy to do and we found the trip very pleasant.

The savings in money was tremendous and actually the time we alloted was about the same as suggested by Mears!

I will post more about how we did it after I get a few hours of sleep!

We've used Happy Limo both times and have loved them. Great drivers, great service, and we'll probably continue using them!

I always use FLTours since I almost missed a plane when Tiffany picked me up over an hour late

The drivers are courteous, professional, punctual and I love the grocery stop.

We have use Happy Limo and have been VERY happy with them. The last time we used them we got a surprise upgrade to a limo for free each way !! This has happened to other people that we have recommend to use Happy also.

Thanks to all who have replied so far. Is it correct that FL Tours doesn't accept credit cards? Has anyone run into a problem with that? Does anyone know if they have vans large enough to accommodate 14 people?

We've used them a few times and never had any problems always ontime, clean cars and professional drivers.

My wife and I have used Tiffany Towncar a few times and have had great luck with them. As for the others, we have not used them.

I read on these boards about Southern Elegance Limousines and just got back from a trip where we used them for transport from MCO to Port Canaveral. They were excellent; price was reasonable, driver showed up exactly on time, limo was in beautiful shape, and--best of all--I got quick, friendly, and accurate responses to every single one of my several e-mails to them. I'm sure other companies are good as well, but I can highly recommend this one!

Strange question - I had originally included Your Ride in my poll, but I noticed it was removed. I also notice that whenever you type ********.net, it is starred out. Is there something about that company that prohibits us from using their name on this board? Just curious.

The owners (past or present I don't recall) were accused of spamming the boards and posting under trojan names I believe, and the name was blocked due to this.

We have used Murray Hill Transporation and are extremely pleased. Without a doubt it beats Mears. And their prices are very competitive.

We went ahead and reserved FL Tours. I'm a bit nervous because we have a very complicated reservation - 12 of us are being picked up one day, 2 of us another day, but we're all returning on the same day. I called and they told me to use the Website even though it only let's me enter up to 10 people (they told me in the special notes section to give all the details). We also have 2 days with transfers to Universal.

Has anyone else ever done a complicated reservation like this with FL Tours? Did you run into any problems? I think I'll be sure to call to confirm a few days before my trip.
