Okay - here's a question for all of you experienced US/IOA visitors...

We will be in Orlando 1/8/12-1/15/12 and staying at WDW. We have one day planned (Wednesday, 1/11/12) to go to US/IOA and want to see as much as we can of both parks with WWoHP a MUST. What is the best plan? It will be our first visit to US/IOA. We have two children - DS is 11 (55") and DD is 8 (48").

Should we go to US first and do the rides there and then go to IOA as soon as we are done? The parks open at 9:00 a.m. close at 6:00 p.m. I don't want to miss out on HP. I am HOPING there will be minimal waits as it is mid-week and January.

Other option...should we go to IOA first, try to go to HP first and then the other rides there and head over to US when we are done?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

if parry hotter is a can't miss place for you, then do that first in ioa.
catch the other rides and shows after you finish parry hotter.

then switch over to the studio side if you have the 1 day, 2 park ticket.

with it being Labor Day, not many homies are here posting.

i'm sure when more peeps are back, you'll receive more opinions.

Last year, that week in January was really busy at Universal for some reason.

I would do as Mac says. Do the WWoHP things first and then just work your way around. People don't tend to having touring plans at Universal.

I am very interested in any other opinions! I'm trying to figure out if we can get both parks done in one day or if two days would be better. Only difference is we will be traveling at the end of February. Thanks!!

Thought I'd give this a bump since I'd like to know the answer to this, too!

Also, if we're trying to do WWoHP and most of the rides at Universal Studios (not too much at IoA because I'm a big chicken ;)), would the front of the line passes be worth it? Parks are only open from 9-6, but the express pass is only $19.99 the day we're going.

if the epp is that low, it is an indicator of a low attendance day in the park.

wait and buy the ex pass when you are in the park and can judge how long the wait lines are.

don't buy it in advance.
once you do, and if you find out you don't need it, there are no refunds.

use the single rider lines as much as you can to avoid waits.
