hi everyone. So I have accumulated about 3 Vera hipsters, a leather cross body organizer, and a messenger organizer over the course of Disney and overseas traveling. While at Disney however, we would also carry in my skip hop diaper bag since we have had real little kids. Our next trip I would like a tote bag for snacks, camera, camcorder, water bottles, etc but we have outgrown the need for a diaper bag. Is there a tote anyone recommends? I have been eyeing the Thirty-One catalog but can't decide what is too big, not big enough, what is a pain to carry, what won't hang on a light weight striker week etc. Thanks for any input.

I bought a tote bag at one of the shops at WDW on my last trip. It's the perfect size, and I use it all the time (even when not at Disney!). It's medium/large size and came in black or royal blue, with cute Disney characters embroidered across the front.

Last time our party (4 adults) had brought 1 strong cinch sack. It held bottles of water, phones, cameras, and whatever else we thought was necessary. When DBF and I go in a couple weeks, we're debating on bringing another one, if at all. I hope that helps! Good luck!

The DH and I always share in carrying a backpack! I very much dislike it when i have to haul everyone's items around all day in a tote bag. If i use a backpack though, the DH has no ssue with helping me carry the load. (He won't carry a girly bag...haha) Depending on what you think you need in the parks you can carry varying sizes of backpacks. I have used a heavy duty back pack meant for text book use or a lighter weight one as well. I find that in the hotter months it is better to carry the lighter wieght one as it won't keep your back so hot.

Our boys have cinch sacs (31) that they're taking, but we're taking the bulk of stuff in the organizing pack (31 hostess item.).

Thanks everyone:love: We tried a bookbag at a theme park a few years ago...it ended up hurting my back (I have chronic back pain and issues) and my husband whined all day it was too hot to carry and made his back sweaty. LOL! So I definitely need something I can sling over the stroller handles. After looking, I am thinking maybe the Thirty-One Retro Metro tote. ESP since I can get it in red ;) I am thinking red with a polka dot scarf and some Disney monogrammed saying! Just need to think one up.

When we went in 2009 with the kids, we bought a cinch sack in the parks- but it had heavier straps. not just those strings...I still have and use tha bag :)

When hubby and I went in 2012, I started with a cross body bag but the 2nd day I ditched it. I just wore my lanyard with the pouch for my key, id, and a credit card. Stuck my lip balm in my pocket, and had my camera on a neck strap. The only thing I had to carry in my hands was my autograph book- which was fine, it was a pain in the rear getting it in and out of the bag in '09.

If you can hack it, go back free....makes life so much easier.

Bag free sound scary with young kids lol. When my kids inevitably get ice cream or a die whip all over themselves it's easier to whip out wet wipes than drag them to a . And my soon the bottomless pit will need snacks or i will be spending a small fortune. Etc etc. maybe when they are teens i can ditch the bag :)
