Help! We cannot decide if we should go to Disney in Oct, Jan or Feb:confused3. As of right now we are planning for Oct. We really want to go during a low crowd time and nice weather. I can tell a lot of the members have been during all of these times Which do you think is the best time to go?
::MinnieMoThanks for your help!

October weather can be hot.
January weather can be cold.

But either can also be very pleasant.
(Who can actually PREDICT the weather, anyway?)

We've been several times in each of these two months and enjoy either for the traditionally low crowds.
February can mark the beginning of higher attendance.
But the crowds have been steadily increasing in ALL months over the past few years.
(Who can actually PREDICT when people will decide to make an off-season trip?)

So... pack the proper clothing for chilly AND warm temps (just in case).
Pick your month of preference, and GO!

We are arriving NEXT WEEK and will be at WDW until Feb. 4th.
(Who can actually PREDICT when I am going to have FUN?)
Me!
Any time I'm at WDW.

We just got back from our first January trip. We are anxious to go again in January because of the realtively low crowds and pleasant temps. It was a bit cool one day this past week, but we just wore fleeces and were very comfy.

I've gone in February and October and both months were pleasant. February was a bit cool but no big deal. I loved the low crowds, practically every ride was a walk on. But since you want nice crowds and weather I suggest October. Some have said October is getting busier every year but at least the weathers nice.

Definitely October, the weather is much nicer and is very unpredictable in February.

It can be quite cool in February, especially in the morning.

OK I'm a Disney regular and live in FL.. The weather is unpredictable every month. It's January, yesterday it was 40 degrees. Today it was 80 degrees. January is a lower crowd time.

We have gone twice during the last week of Jan. The first trip was nice. It was mid 50's in the morning and low 70's the whole trip. Last year we went and froze. When we at MGM it was very cold and in the high 40's. The whole trip was cold I think it hit 65 2 days out of the 7. This year we are going in March and we are hoping for mid 70's but the crowds will be much heavier. Last Jan. was also a lot busier that the year before. :confused3

It also depends which part of the month you go also. Earlier in October will be less crowded, but hotter. The mid to latter part of October will be more crowded because of MNSSHP. The first week of January this year was VERY crowded, so I would avoid that week. The months of January and February you'll be taking chances with the weather ... might be less crowds but cooler temps.

We are in WDW world right now, and all I can say is that January is my new favorite time to come.

There very low crowds, and the weather has been great!

We usually come in Oct or Nov. LAst year we came in Sept, which was great. But from now on, it will be January!

We just got back a few days ago, and I loved January!!! Althoughthe weather CAN be a bit unpredictable, I appreciated not being all sweaty.

I expected lower crowds, but they were fine. Still got to do all the things we wanted. We are happily planning on going back next January.

This is just the information I was looking for. We'll be there next week and are hoping for low crowds.

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

I like Oct. for Food and Wine at Epcot, but in January I need a break from the Pennsylvania cold weather.
