best studio rooms - value/views/feels

What in your opinion are the best studio rooms in terms of value, the view they provide, and the feel of the room.

I'm interested in hearing comments on the studio rooms at the various resorts... including HH

View will vary from one room to the next, even within a single resort. Every property has great views and some lousy views.

All of the on-site resorts have one queen bed and a sofabed with the exception of OKW which has two queen beds. They all have kitchenttes, balconies, largely-identical bathroom facilities, etc.

You can find a lot of room photos at www.allearsnet.com if you are trying to determine which has the most appealing decor. To me, the rustic look at VWL isn't particularly appealing. The rest are all very appealing.

Not sure what the question is here...

If you are asking for specific best studio rooms, I'd mention the studio we had at BCV. (Room 360 I think) It was on the corner by the second elevator, next to the pool, so it had an oversized balcony right over the quiet pool. Very nice.

If you are asking which resort has the best class of studio rooms, I'd have to go with OKW just for the size of them.

yes, all DVC resort have some wonderful (great) views and some - this is a view??? view.

at OKw I like building 55. (this is building 55, not 54, or 56) - all have very different views. OKW has 2 queen beds not a queen and a sleeper sofa.

OKW has some wonderful views!!! they have some water views that are down right great.

if you want a studio ask for the 2nd or 3rd floor - you might have to walk up steps but if you it want a nice view it is worth it. Do not take a studio on the 1st floor. too many are near (right next too) the airconditioning units or handicapped accessibility.

the BWV has the BW view - very pretty indeed. It also has some dedicated studios. (OKW doesn't)

the BCV was an add on and it doesn't have the great views that the BC does. that say I loved my Spaceship Earth view. Although another person say she hated the same view.

VWL has generally a woods view. There are a few, very, very few views of the pool / lake area. this is the quiet pool at VWL. No VWL villa has a view of the WL main pool.

SSR has some nice views of the lake. Also some great view of DD. but it also has the noise from DD in those rooms.

If I understand your question, I think you are asking which resort's studios are best. That would really depend on what YOUR preferences are. If you prefer woods, golf or water views and need two queen beds and less point costs , OKW is your choice. If you can get by with one bed and one sleep sofa and want a Boardwalk view, BWV would be your choice. BCV would have 1 bed and 1 sleep sofa and either a pool or woods view. VWL will have the same 1 bed/1 sleep sofa arrangement and a woods or pool view. SSR will have the 1 bed/1 sleep sofa arrangement with views of DTD or gardens and pools.

If less points per stay is your goal, then OKW and BWV standard view (parking lot) is the best for you.

IF you are asking for specific rooms, there is not a whole lot of help you can get here, because none of us have stayed in every room available.

I went through the same process of discovery as you are a few months ago before I became a member. In the end I purchased BWV through Disney. In the end, I decided that SSR and OKW will be available most of the time that I will travel to disney, but the BWV and BCV and to some extent, the VWL will not. So, the 11 month advantage is important to me.

I bought the BWV for the initial contract but fully intend to add on some points from the VWL just for Christmas trips in the not too distant future. I ended up with the BWV over BCV because I didn't want to wait for the BCV points and BWV came through very quickly, by waitlist standards. As for the great pool at BCV, we like the Water Parks so this was not a great draw for us, and I am sure that we will get to stay there sometime or another.

Your preferences may be quite different from mine or anyone elses. And, it is impossible to be 100 percent sure that you have make the absolute best choice. Just go with your gut and rest assured that you will not be disappointed with your DVC stay no matter where you are!!!
