Best Strategy for Pixie Hollow

Is Tink always there? MY DD and I really want to see her, of course the others would be nice too. but more concerned about her.:tinker:

I'm curious about this too?
I really REFUSE to wait over an hour for this but my youngest DD will be terribly distraught if we go over there and stand for an hour in line and then Tink isn't eve there at that time!

Tink is ALWAYS there. Two of the other four will be there, as well.

Hope this helps someone. And, please DON’T have someone save a spot in line!

If I am going with friend and our 2 daughters, can't I have her take them inside to the line at 945am while I stow the strollers, etc. and catch back up with them? What harm is this?

People really tend to frown upon this. I have read it in many threads. But I would think that if you return quickly it would be alright. Some people save a spot for the whole family and then they all budge in front of others who have already waited for 45 minutes. I had to sneak out of the ToT line last year so my DD didn't have an accident. My sister was still in line and we had already been waiting 45 minutes and were still in the queue outside.Anyway...so I snuck out and took her potty very quickly. I got some horrible looks when I returned by people who obviously thought I was budging in line. But like I said...who really would see the harm if you just quick parked the stroller and then quick scooted into line.

Just to echo what everyone has said here, get there at least 30 min before opening. I was the first in line to see the fairies and when I cam back around to take a picture of the entrance (10:15 or so) the wait was already at 45 min.

I haven't read the whole thread, so maybe someone has already pointed this out, but if you are waiting at the rope for 30 minutes and then another 10 minutes in line once you get to Pixie Hollow, you have saved yourself 5 minutes of waiting, when you could have been using the early morning hours to ride the more popular rides without waiting.

We were at WDW this past week. We stopped by on 2 separate evenings to check out the wait for the fairies. Both times it was 75 minutes. On our last day (Sat 14th), we showed up at TT RD around 940 or so. We were pretty far back in the line but ended up being one of the first families in line. We left our stroller at the tea cups so that we wouldn't have to deal with it. So while everyone else was trying to get their strollers parked and theirs kids out of the strollers, we walked right into the fairy tent. If you go to RD, park your stroller before you get there. You will get into the tent much faster.

When waiting for the fairies--is most of the wait inside or outside? Are you out in the sun, or in a cool area most of the time?

I wondered about this myself! Does it make more sense to do lots of other rides in the early hours of the park and hit Pixie Hollow later? It does sound like people are getting to toontown rd 30 minutes early and still spending time in line waiting.

Not sure what to do! :)
