Best Steaks????????????

I've eaten at 3 different steakhouses in WDW - here's my rating:

1. Yachtsman Steakhouse - a must on every trip
2. Concourse Steakhouse - would return
3. Le Cellier - not going back. Not in the same league IMO as Yachtsman.

I had the Buffalo Sirloin at Artist Point the 1st week on Jan. it was wonderful
perfectly done and very tender.
The only other place we like is off property, Charlies Steak House

We do LOVE our steak in my house:

3. Le Cellier
2. Jiko
1. California Grill - this one melts in your mouth and is the BEST!

Le Cellier gets my vote. I had the mushroom filet, dh had the prime rib and we were both in heaven! I also loved that atmosphere, strange because there are not windows which would normally drive me nuts but I loved it! California Grille was also very good, I had their filet which was excellent but I prefered Le Cellier's.

Yachstsman is hands down favorite of my DH and he is quite the steak man! We have had consistant GREAT meals there over the years and try to go back at least twice a year!

DH couldn't get drunk enough to eat his steak at Le Cellier. :sad2: He's a real beef lover and his vote is for Shulas! :thumbsup2

Just got back this week and we always love the Yachtmans but we did get an out of the world filet at the Brown Derby. My DH is not easy to impress but the whole meal and the service was "excellent" (not a word he drops very often). So we are reccommending the Derby for a tender and flavorable filet!!!!

Off Property I would say the Butcher Shop which is in the old Mercado (which is about to be torn down and replaced with condos) on International Drive off Sand Lake Blvd. At Disney, I agree with the Yachtsman. Just got back from Disney where we went to the California Grill because of its reputation. After ordering the filet mignon rare, it came well done. When I sent it back, after a half hour, it never came back. Spoke to the manager and we wound up paying for the drinks and going out at 10PM looking for a place to eat. :confused3

I would have to say the filet at Brown Derby or the Buffalo steak at Artist Point. To me they are to die for!! Especially because it's hard to top DH's cooking. :flower3: pixiedust:

I haven't been to Yachtsman's, but I heard it was really good. Doesn't that take 2 TS credits on the meal plan?? :confused3 If not, we will have to try it in December!

My vote goes to LE CELLIER. My filet Mignon with mushroom Rissoto was OUT OF THIS WORLD. And with the cheese soup and pretzel bread, this was a PERFECT MEAL.

ENJOY...wherever you choose to go!

Le Cellier!! DH and I both had the petite fillet and loved them. However we also got really good NY Strips at Tony's Town Square and also Spoodles. Le Cellier was #1, Tony's #2, and Spoodles #3.

I had the steak at Spoodles. Wonderful. It was a New York Strip. Yummy. Melt in your mouth delicious. The Kid's steak was great too. For the non steaked, try the seafood stew. It's spicy but very delicious. The Rigitoni was great too. Was my favorite place I ate down there.

I also tried the steak at California Grill. It was a fillet. Also melt in your mouth delicious. If you haven't tried it before, try the veal tournedos OOOOOH. That was even better. A great change of pace. You won't be disappointed.

Both places cooked the steaks perfectly to what was requested.

Haven't eaten at the other steakhouses.
I will go back to Spoodles next trip.
Cali Grill was great We loved it and would go back also. But we're going to try a different signiture next time.

Where are these restaurants located; Cape May Cafe', Le Cellier, California Grill, Ohana's, Pecos Bill's, and Beaches & Cream? Is there a list of Restaurants somewhere or are there just too many? Thanks all :thumbsup2

I actually did some more reading and answered my own questions. Only one place I was looking for that I couldn't find was Pecos Bills for burgers. :confused3
