So we will be on a 4 night Bahamas cruise in May and wanted to dive one day. Is there diving allowed at Castaway or any dives with Disney at Nassau? Much rather go deeper than have to stay up top with a snorkel
I typically go diving on all my cruises and I wish they did offer diving at CC but unfortunately no. On my last Disney cruise a few years ago that had a port stop in Nassau I went diving and I highly recommend it. Only three of us from the Dream went on this excursion which included the Security Officer from the ship. The drive from the ship to the diving location took about 30 minutes and since we where a small group we boarded inflatable boat which was fine with me because I do prefer the back-roll entry into the water. The visibility was great and each of the three dive locations we went diving included a wreck and one of the wrecks was a plane so very, very cool.

Disney uses Stuart Cove as their operator in Nassau. So basically anything they run is fair game. Only thing they wont do and I looked into it is the shark dives as theres not enough time with the ships schedule.

Usually there is. Unless its changed, I thought the min number of people was 4 to run the trip thru DCL. But I could be wrong. The other thing is you do have to book thru DCL. You cant call SC directly to book. They'll refer you back to the ship. Unless you find away around it
