Best rides to save for after fireworks at MK

Magic Kingdom will be open until 11 next week while we are there on a non-party day. Which rides are best saved for (or re-ridden) after fireworks?

We like SDMT and BTM.

BTMRR and 7DMT are amazing if you can time them right during fireworks.

Splash is good after dark.

You could start with the Late Night Double Dash challenge - that’s both Big Thunder and Splash during the same fireworks show. Just start with Big Thunder first. It won’t work the other way around.

Then Peter Pan, Space Mtn and 7D are good for after the fireworks. Just don’t be discouraged by the artificially inflated wait times.

I got to experience that on our last trip - I got soaked at 9:45 pm! We were able to make it to the Pirates line before close after that.
I was thinking about SDMT near close to avoid the morning crowds and not have to buy ILL.

7D is good for a late ride. We found a 50 minute posted wait about a half hour before closing on our most recent visit, but the actual wait was only 15.

The longest we’ve ever waited using this strategy was 20 minutes during opening week in 2014.
