Hello!:wave2:

What are some rides that are fun/different to experience at night? I've heard of Jungle Cruise - any others in the MK and also in the other parks?

Thank you:)!

I think Jungle cruise would be pretty great at night , that I will have to try ..

Splash is really good, so is BTM, but my fav is space (jk jk). Seriously though splash and BTM, also Everest, ToT (for that brief moment when the doors open). While not an outside ride HM is cool at night if only because it adds to the whole experience itself, AO is cool and finally the people mover.

We love Jungle Cruise at night, it is totally different than daytime. My kids will only go on at night. They said it is eerie at night. :confused3

Fun question. I'd go with Splash Mt., especially if you ride during Wishes. Going down the big drop as fireworks explode provides a great -- but brief! -- view.

The Swiss family treehouse is absolutely gorgeous at night and gives you a nice view of Cinderella castle. Climbing the stairs and hearing swissapopka with all the lights glowing and the water. I have seen wishes from its terraces before if you time it right and don't mind the stairs

I definitely agree with Splash and BTMRR. I did both this weekend and it was so great. HM is also another good one, even though it's inside. Adds to the atmosphere, like PP said. :)

I love HM at night. But also I enjoyed the carpets too when we did them at night during the Christmas season so we could see the Dream lights on the Castle. Super beautiful. Same with the TTA for that reason.

But as others have said BTM is also fun in the dark ;)

Love Big thunder at night.
Haunted Mansion is cool too as I find I can see much more at night because my eyes are adjusted to the darkness outside. During the day its is blinding bright out its hard to see anything in mansion.
TTA is great at night.

I personally love anything at AK at night. I love going there on extra magic hours when it will be dark. I love the ambiance of walking around that park at night- the lighting the sounds.

Epcot the countries are really pretty at night but I could just sit and stare at Spaceship Earth anytime night or day lol.

Love Everest and BTMR at night!! Do they light up the Jungle Cruise or do anything different at night?

In short, all of MK!

The whole park just has a magical feel after dark.

Among my top five: Haunted Mansion!, PotC, BTMRR, Splash, Aladdin/AstroOrbiter. Another ride we always do at night is IaSW. not because the ride is any different, but because the lines are SO much shorter. I always chuckle- daytime waits are long whereas night waits are often nothing.

At Epcot, the Wrold Showcase is where I feel the difference. I suppose TT, is a little different at night, but the lighting in the WS makes it feel special. Especially if the weather is nice, and you can eat outside.

In DTD, eating outside is a plus. I think my favorite is now gone (enclosed). It was the QS Wolfgang Puck's.

Mostly AK is closed at night, but the Yeti ride after dark was kind of neat. I'm pretty sure when it is open past dark the animal attractions are all closed. Incidentally, they also all close during a thunderstorm.

For us, HS is a half day park. If we are there after dark it is to take advantage of shorter lines. One thing that I suppose stands out a bit are the shows they have near the big hat. I don't go to them special, but we often stop for a few minutes. To me, though HS, has the least special theming.

VERY late at night (thinking mostly this happens at MK) the park gets a special kind of feeling. It's a little crazy, it's a little bit comraderie. It is also a LOT more free-for-all- when it comes to flash photos on dark rides. I suppose though if most th cars around are empty. it's slightly more forgivable. There's a certain feeling though that nobody in MK at 3am is a first timer.

OH, and another late night tradition for us is a late night cookie. Gone are the Toll House cookies form Main St. But there are cookies to be had in Liberty Square, at the Villains shop in HS, Norway bakery in Epcot, sometimes over by Energy as well. There are other sweets available pretty late as well. Like the Main St. Confectionary is open late and has M&M's, rice Crispie treats, fudge, etc.

We love BTMR at night as well as Jungle Cruise. I know it is inside but we also prefer to ride ToT at DHS at night, it just feels more creepy!

If you get a chance Everest at night is fantastic, but since DAK isn't usually open after dark it is hard to try that one.

For some reason I think Living with the Land would be cool at night....

I'll let you know when I try it in October!

Jungle Cruise. It's a whole different ride.

BTMRR. Rode this as night for the first time last trip. It was fantastic. I had no idea the little town you roll through had lights.

PP mentioned how their eyes adjusted better to HM at night. I think the same applies to PotC.

Test Track is another I like to do at night. The high-speed portion is pretty cool.
