Best ride gift shops

We don't usually take time to browse the shops after exiting a ride, but for our Thanksgiving trip the kids are saving up and want to do some shopping (DD 15 and DS 6). I seem to remember Pirates having a fairly large one. Also, the little shop that is outside HM had a miniature playset my DS wanted, but we said maybe next time. Has anyone purchased this and is it fairly durable. Do any other rides/attractions have similar models? My DH said he thought he saw a tree model at AK.

My kids love the Star Wars and Indiana Jones gift shops. I like the Pooh gift shop.

I like the Tower of Terror shop. I don't even get on the ride but always make it a point to visit the shop.

Welcome to the Dis Brermom:wave: Some of what you are talking about (the Tree of Life) are the accessories to the monorail sold at many of the WDW shops. One of the best shops on property is the Mickey's Mart(I think that's still the name) in Tomorrowland. You can see the shop from the TTA, although the ride doesn't actually empty out into the shop (like Test Track at Epcot).

Welcome to the DIS! Love your screenname, too. I have three kiddos.

I love comparing the giftshops because there's usually several items that can only be had at that particular shop. We've bought a few things from the Test Track gift shop over the years.

Unless they want something specific to a ride, I'd stick to MouseGears and Downtown Disney for shopping. Belz Outlet will help you get more for your money, too.
