I am looking for the best place to take my girls for breakfast, this is our first time in Disney. Also if you can recommend a good place for dinner in or near the Magic Kingdom. These are our ADR as of now.

Sci-Fi 05/17
1900 Park Fare 05/18
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall 05/19
Chef Mickey 05/20

Chef Mickeys is fun! Personally if you are on the DDP or have the extra cash, CRT would be an amazing treat :)

CRT is wonderful for breakfast of dinner so is Akershus in Epcot

My boys love Chef Mickey's character breakfast. They like the character interaction, but more importantly, the monorail whisks by every few minutes.

My vote: 'Ohana

My kids' vote: Chef Mickey's. Although they like the CM dinner, they really enjoy breakfast here. They were really put out with me because I didn't schedule it on our past trip! I won't make that mistake again. ;)

It's a great way to end a Disney vacation.

We LOVE Tusker House for breakfast. It has great character interaction & great food! We've been twice and plan to go again this year.

For dinner in or near Magic Kingdom...

Crystal Palace (but it is another character meal, not sure if you had enough yet :rotfl:)

Ohana

My kids would vote for Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare (at the Grand Floridian) for a character breakfast. My DH and I really enjoy Tusker House.

As for dinner in or near MK, I would say Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square, or Kona Cafe (in the Polynesian).

I think Chef Mickey's is extremely overrated. I think Cape May Cafe has a better breakfast buffet. You also get the same characters at Cape May and they seem to not be in a rush to greet you and leave like at Chef Mickey's.

My vote goes for Ohana!!!! Ohana is a must do for my family. The characters are great and the food is amazing. We always have the great luck to be seated with a view of the castle and nothing cant beat that view.

Another vote for O'hana. I love it because the food is brought to the table family style and I can relax and enjoy the characters and atmosphere without getting up and down for the buffet line.
