Best restaurant in Disney Hollywood Studios

I'm planning a trip to Walt Disney World and I was wondering: what you think the best restaurant is in the Disney Hollywood Studios?

We love the Brown Derby for an upscale meal, can't wait to go back. Also, we always eat at Mama Melrose at lunch. If you go during the week, ask for Barbara..she's awesome!!

Brown Derby is the most upscale. Food is good there, but it's two TS credits if you're on the DDP, and I don't think it's worth that.

Mama Melrose has not disappointed us, but the food is fairly basic.

50s Prime Time is lots of fun, and the food is decent (though not gourmet or fancy).

I used to love Hollywood and Vine but I heard they changed their menu. It used to be a nice buffett with a great roast and awesome beans. But the part that used to be the highlight was the Build Your Own Sundae. They had INCREDIBLE toppings!!! All types of candies, sprinkles... mmmm... Sorry, I had to wipe the drool off my laptop. Anyway, now I like 50's Primetime because the wait staff is VERY entertaining! Plus, they have a nice hidden bar that you can rest your feet and wet your whistle without too much crowd.

My favorite is 50s Prime Time. I find the home cooking to be refreshing after eaten burgers and chicken nuggets. And the smores are so yum.

Brown Derby is the best, 50's Prime Time Cafe is most fun, and Sci-Fi Dine-In is the most unusual.

Love the 50s Primetime Cafe, so much fun!! And have never had a bad meal there.

Found it by accident 2 years ago. (got to the park right around 11AM, and were starving and lost)

We go back everytime now. Can't wait till April!

50s Prime Time. We just ate there last week. Momma Ellan was a hoot. We also loved sci fi. They have the best caramel cheesecake.

We love Sci-Fi Drive Inn. They have the best cheese burgers & milkshakes. If you don't see it on the menu ask. They will make it for you.

Brown Derby! Great atmosphere and great food! We've eaten at 50's Prime Time and Sci-Fi as well and I was not a fan of either. Mediocre food not worth the $$.

The Brown Derby is our favorite restaurant at the Studios. Great service, great food and wonderful upscale atmosphere. The CMs there really take care of you!

I love Brown Derby, mostly for the Cobb salad. I usually go there for lunch to get my salad fix. If I were on the DDP, that would be a horrible value, but since I have TiW and pay OOP, it's great!

we love Sci-Fi and 50's and have a hard time deciding between the two.
Sci-Fi has a great atmosphere and great ribs. 50's has the best meatloaf i've ever tasted along with the surprisingly amazing peanut butter and jelly shake.

I'm leaving for WDW soon and i keep thinking should i have picked Sci-Fi or should i change for 50's. Not that they'd have anything left for 50's, but meatloaf or ribs?
