Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a great restaurant (service, and more importantly FOOD! dessert happens to be my favorite meal :)) that has something unique/special/Disney-feeling to end my trip.

1 TS only please, I have no spare TS credits to make it a Signature!! (I am on the DDP, so no appetizers.) Preferrably off park property, since it's my 5th park day (no park hopper) and I prefer to keep it free once I decide which of the 4 I'd like to revisit :)

Forgot to mention, I already have ADRs for: Narcoossee's, Yak & Yeti, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Les Chefs de France.

Thanks!

Le Cellier comes to mind. O'hanas is always good too, especially if you can get a view of the fireworks during dinner. If that's too late, just watch the fireworks from the beach.

I second Ohana's, and also suggest the Kona Cafe. Both are at the Polynesian, and both have wonderful food, and the added benefit of fireworks on the beach after dinner :)

I would highly recommend Sanaa! It was the best 1 TS credit restaurant I have been too, and was almost signature-worthy to me.

The food was FANTASTIC! From appetizers to desserts...everything was delicious and interesting.
The atmosphere and decor in the restaurant can't be beat. It's so unique, and the view - where else can you watch Zebras eat their dinner while you eat yours?
The service was excellent as well. I was never wanting for anything.

To top off my amazing meal, I enjoyed Botswana fables told by the firepit outside while watching the animals. Then I witnessed a drum procession through the Kidani lobby, followed by a presentation on the big cats of Botswana in the 'library' shortly after.

It was an amazing night, and would be a perfect 'last night at Disney' send off.

Our 1st day restaurant on every trip is San Angle, and we had a great tender steak there last year and have ADR's for our first day this year, maybe this could be your last day restaurant?

I thirdsies 'Ohana for your last night of the trip, especially if you can see the fireworks (they dim the lights and pipe in the music). We have never had a lot of luck with service there, but the food is good.

I'd pick Ragland Road at DTD. The dessert is enough reason to go there. My second choice would be Sanaa. For a 1TS credit meal, it's suprisingly good.

Thanks for all the suggestions :)

I probably wouldn't want to risk trying out a new cuisine for my last night though.
I've never eaten Mexican/Indian/Irish. (and can't eat spicy foods!)

Ohana/Kona Cafe seem similar to Yak & Yeti in their food. I probably wouldn't venture to those places as I am already doing Yak & Yeti, although I've always heard great things about Ohana/Kona! The decor alone, however (especially at Ohana), makes me want to go though ... The Polynesian looks gorgeous!

Any other suggestions?

I know you said off park, but Tutto Italia was the last meal we had on DDP, and last meal we had with our whole group down there and was hands down the best meal we ate. In our group (4 adults) we had two steaks, veal, and short ribs and they were all excellent. Service was great (we loved Elizabetta) and desserts - well - I seriously considered going back again just for them! They offer like 8 different kinds!

We weren't huge fans of Ohana food - also our service was below average. Atmosphere is awesome though. However, this TS also took us the longest, just another FYI. We waited an extra 10 minutes after we finished our other meats to finally get steak and it was dry.

If you like seafood, try Cape May Cafe and eat crab legs galore. Since its a buffet I wouldn't necessarily call it classy or elegant. But still a yummy meal.

If your looking for a good American meal, maybe try "The Wave" at contemporary. The desserts look super delicious there! Never been, but heard good things. Has 80% thumbs up in the unofficial guide.

Have fun!

Off-park, your favorite meal is dessert - sounds like Cape May to me. I don't know if it fits the "disney unique" part - you get a bucket of crayons to write/color on your table mat and they give you some gross salt water taffy at the end. But for desserts, especially if you like chocolate, Cape May should be tops for you. A fair number of new englanders bash it as not being a real clambake and don't think the quality of the seafood is what they get at home. But the landlocked part of the country seems to be more favorable to it.

O'hana has a little more of that "disney uniqueness" to it, and we do like it there. But you're locked in on dessert with the bread pudding (which we find delicious, btw).

I love the buffet at cape may. As a pp said it is definatley not a new england clambake. However the seafood is good. There are plenty of choices for those who don't like seafood. The dessert choices are plentiful. If you do like buffets and it is my preferred choice for a last night. Cinderella Royal Table at GF is lots of fun. The food is good. Don't forget to try the strawberry soup. The character interaction is the best on property. Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters ar hysterical. I laughed so hard last time we went there were tears in my eyes. A great last impression for the end of a fun trip. Then there is Boma at AKL. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is lots of fun. The food is a little exotic. My inlaws came with us one time. FIL is diabetic. MIL can't eat spicey food. Your server comes over to take drink orders and to ask if there are any food allergies etc. The chef came right to our table told my in-laws what foods to avoid and then told them if they would rather he would make them something special. All three places are only on TS credit. We were on the modified dinning plan. We all really liked Cape May. DD thought GF was the best and Both DSs prefered Boma over the others, can't beat the amosphere. These are my top three choices.

we actually haven't been to this restaurant yet, but I have read so many great things about the GF Cafe that we made reservations for Sept. You can see the menu on Allears....it looks fantastic.

Also, the Beach Club Buffet is wonderful and alot of fun. Then you can walk around the Boardwalk your last night, take the boat to Epcot or DS..... :goodvibes

Kouzzina at the Boardwalk is delicious! I know you don't want to spend 2 credits, but we are spending our last night at Hoop Dee Doo. :yay:

Our last meal last time was Boma and it was great then we walked out to say good bye to the animals we all loved it.

We have ressies at Artists Point for our last night. We have breaky and lunch the next day, but not sure where yet. Yikes...we leave in 15 days...guess I'd better get that last day figured out!

I second Kouzzina! my bf and I absolutely loved our meal there during our January stay and so we made an ADR there for our May trip (just got back, so sad :sad1:) as well. the FISHERMAN'S STEW is to die for!!
