Hey, I'm new to posting here, but definitely not new to lurking in the forums!

Anyway, my cousin and I are planning a graduation trip for just the two of us sometime in the (probably) second week of June 2004. We'll both be 18, and she's never been to WDW!

While I'd love to stay at a deluxe resort (maybe Contemporary or Boardwalk), I'm thinking that we might be better off staying at an All Star... that way we'd get to stay longer. Is the transportation efficient at that time of year from there?

Thanks for the input! (Funny, she's not nearly excited as I am... she really needs experience that Disney magic) :earsboy:

What do you think?

Ashley,

I would try to stay at a moderate. CSR is really nice and a little more "adult". It has the hot tub, pool slide, marina, surrey bikes.
If you have to stay at the AS, the bus service is fine there. It will be HOT, so I would schedule mid-day breaks (which is why I suggested the moderate;) . Start saving now. Do yard sales, babysitting, wash cars, and tell everyone that you want $$$ for Christmas, b-day and graduation. Hopefully they will have a good deal, like the FTP or you could get an AP. Have fun planning!

I recommend the All Star Resort. You do not really spend much time at the hotel anyway and you can spend your money on going to better places to eat. The All Star Hotels are nice. We stayed there and my 17 year old and 21 year old loved it. My son(21) would walk around at night and check out all 3 All Stars. He said it was great.

When I stayed at ASMusic last year, there were a lot of college aged people there. It seemed like a busy place (great for young, singles looking to party, but not so great for this 51 yo "early to bed early to rise type"). To me, the prettiest resort was POR.
