Can a travel agent book the best rate for you or do you have to do it yourself?

I am a 'Cruise agent' and also book land packages as well. Often you can find better yourself as we have certain suppliers that give us better commissions and that often works in our best interest and not necessarily yours!

Without an added incentive such as that there is only so much time and effort any agent will put into finding you the best deal!

I would look around and see what's out there first!

Did you mean best rate with your AP? Yes, an agent can book that for you if that was the question!
