Best Princess meal for 5th Birthday?

We will be in WDW in Feb. My niece will be turning 5 on the trip. She loves princesses so I want to take her to BBB and out to lunch?/dinner? with the princesses.

Anyone have any birthday/princess experiences to share?

Don't know about birthday...but my 6 yr. old niece loved all the princesses at EPCOT Norway restaurant. There was about 5-6 of them that showed up and each of them paid special attention to her.

CRT breakfast was PURE MAGIC I would definitely recommend this one for a little princess. We took our dd 10 and ds 12 and they both were mesmerized as was me and hubby to be eating in the castle and the food was awesome and the princess interaction was wonderful. They even made ds feel welcome and included.

I preferred the CRT experience over the Storybook Princess. We did both but I thought the CRT was more princess magical than the Storybook one. We enjoyed the one in Norway but not as much as CRT. I would try the CRT 1st Plus, you get your pic taken with Cinderella 1st downstairs and then they are given a wand or a sword ( in my sons case) and you go up the winding little staircase to the upstairs where you are seated and then the princesses make their rounds to your table for pics and autographs. All were very sweet and they have a wishing ceremony and you receive a wishing star along with the wands and swords and you close your eyes and the kids make wishes. It was PURE magic and again the food was VERY YUMMY! Hubby and I said it was the best breakfast of our visit. Storybook you get a pic with a princess. I think they rotate but there isn't any wishing ceremony and again you aren't in the CASTLE.

We took dd to the BBB in downtown Disney and it was wonderful. I prefer the breakfast experience. You could schedule the BBB after the breakfast or if you are lucky to get into a time for the BBB before the ADR time at the CRT, that would work too. I think the breakfast gets the best reviews at both places. There were many there not in dresses for the CRT. DD had a normal Disney outfit on. She had a cute Cinderella dress but we opted to not wear it as we were doing the MK park that day and didn't want the extra clothing to tug around after she changed her clothes in the parks. It was VERY hot and she would have been miserable in a dress all day. I saw many of girls that were walking around at the parks and they looked miserable in their dresses. That is why we opted for the BBB @ DDD on a down day. Worked out better for us and dd was called PRINCESS everywhere we went

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian IMO has a good buffett - Cinderella, Prince Charming, Step mother and 2 step sisters.

If she really likes Cinderella it's a great choice.

I have been to both the castle and norway for a princess meal. The castle was far more magical IMO...my DD 4 seemed to prefer it as well. Both were great but like I said CRT was the favorite of the 2

1900 Park Fare @ the GF resort as the one poster said in my opinion is VERY good! We enjoyed it too! It was our arrival night dinner and will remain a tradition for our arrival night, however for a b-day and a more magical atmosphere in a really more intimate type environment, I would still suggest the Cinderella's Royal Table. It was very intimate and only seats a ceratin amount and then once some leave, more come in, etc. The 1900 Park Fare is bigger, not as intimate and more crowded. Still WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL thought and we enjoyed it sooooooooooo much! It was really a wonderful way to start out our vacation. But...........for a PRINCESS, I would say the CRT. We did celebrate our kids b-days and their 1st visit welcome to disney at 1900 Park Fare and they did get a Prince Crown and Princess Crown and cute little placemats from 1900 Park Fare with autographs of all different characters. We ordered a specialty Mickey Mouse shaped cake from the GF bakery to be delivered at our meal but I believe you can also ask at the podium when you check-in for a little cake that anyone can get for b-days or they might bring a b-day something or the other like a cupcake if you mention b-days when making your reservation. We just played it safe and ordered a specialty one for our kids. The kids did get a certificate too at the CRT for their b-days. You can't go wrong really with either place. Just have to decide what exactly you are wanting for your experience. They both are AWESEOME PLACES with GREAT food and interaction with characters. Goodluck to you

If your niece loves Cinderella then I say 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridean. It includes the mice, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the 2 step sisters, and step mother. Also if your lucky the fairy godmother will be there to greet you. (She was when we went). 1900 Park Fare is a buffet and the buffet had great food/choices. The Cinderella character buffet is only for dinner as of breakfast being Mary Poppins, Alice, Pooh, Tigger, Mad Hatter. If she likes all the princesses then I say go to Norway Storybook Dining in Epcot. They had the most princesses I have ever seen in a princess dining expreience Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, Aorura, and Cinderella, maybe more. Also, the food was outstanding we dine here for breakfast! The character interaction is great here they spend as much time with your lil girl as possible and give her full attention. Norway Princess Storybook Dining is the best princess breakfast in the world and 1900 Park Fare ss the best dinner!

Thanks for all the replys. I know eating in the castle will be a big deal to her. I think I'll try to get that first. But 1900 Park Faire sounds like fun too. Maybe two princess meals (spaced out of course). Its nice to have such "difficult" decisions to make.
