best price for checks

ok so i have never had to buy checks! i know it sounds wierd but i try to pay everything electronically and my first set from the bank was two huge boxes of checks. i'm down to my last few. what is the best place to get them from? i noticed my bank has them but it doesn't show prices when i browse. are those websites/ads in the sunday coupons any good? i could care less who or what is on my checks, just that the price is a good deal. i would hate to just buy them and find out later i could have paid a lot less.

Generally both the Smart Source and the Red Plum coupon inserts in the Sunday newspapers will have offers for checks. These are legitimate companies and the prices are good.

Our checkbooks are free from our bank. You don't have to pay unless you want fancy pictured ones.

I get ours from Walmart they are reasonable and they have Disney check options which I love hope that helps

Double check with your bank. Ours are free unless we want something special, which we don't care about, since our check use is maybe 2 or 3 a month.

Some banks offer free no frills checks with acct so I'd start there. Other wise checks in the mail, current checks, walmart, any of check place ads in sunday paper coupon section are good and reliable.

Places like checksunlimited and checksinthemail offer really good prices to new customers. Check a site like retailmenot first for a code. I just ordered checks the other night. I think it was checksunlimited that I could have gotten 4 boxes of duplicates for $24...when I went through the process, though, the code was for new customers, and since I was not, it went up to $80+. I ended up at artisticchecks. I like pretty checks!

Mine are free from my bank, Wells Fargo. To qualify, I have to have direct deposit.

thanks everyone! i will check with my bank. i have a basic "student" account i got in college. i keep it since it seems to have no fees or terms, although i do have direct deposit. if not i will start with some of those websites and be sure to look for codes.

I just had to order checks, and I re-ordered from checksunlimited. There was a flyer that came in the coupons or something, and I got 4 boxes of duplicate checks for $34. I ordered, and they were shipped within 2 days.
