best price for Annual Pass

I was thinking of getting an AP for our trip Oct. 2004. I was planning on renewing my DC membership and then getting them in December with the discount before it ends. Is it worth it or are there any other / better dicounts for it? TIA

I have never seen a better price than the renewal with the Disney Club. We were due in June but since this is the club's last year, we won't renew but get new passes when we visit in August - a gamble that we will go back before the expiration but only a difference of $150 from the renewal cost as we will still get the Disney Club discount.

I don't think you can renew the Disney Club membership. It officially ends on December 31st. I had heard that they were not selling memberships any longer.

You can still renew your Disney Club until the end of the year. They pro-rate the $29 renewal for the rest of the days of the year. I just renewed my July expiration and it was $12.58, expires 12/31/03.
