Not the greatest choice for kids - because of atmosphere - high end.
If you must, the burgers aren't bad at the Backlot Express, and here's the good part - You might catch a Jedi Training show while you eat. That's enjoyable.
Oh my heavens. Those photo's of the meals and deserts look edible. It all looks way too, too good!!!Loved Loved Loved 50s PT! Great fun and really good food we thought

50's PT is also where the waitresses get on to you about bad table manners I guess. We've been happy with our meals at 50s Prime Time, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Mama Melrose.
If you want unique Disney experience I'd recommend 50s P/T which has decent food and the best atmosphere of the bunch.

So, far the Sci Fi and the 50's PT really sound both like a good time. Mixed reviews on Sci FI food though and it seems like everyone likes 50's PT food.
How to choose????
We will be there soon.
Oh, do we need to make reservations for either of them now or when we get to the park or no reservations needed?

Just curious .......Can you take left overs with you back to the resort, doggie bag? I don't know if a microwave is available or not at CBR, but I know we have a fridge in all the rooms.

If you are past your 90 day mark, I would either call or go online right away and book your ADRs for them. From what I have been reading on other posts, 50's PT is a pretty hard one to get so if you decide to do that one, I would do it now. Sci Fi, I am not sure if it is as popular (never been) but I would also get an ADR now if you are past your 90 day mark. Waiting until you get to the park may be too late. Also, I too recommend 50's PT....the pot roast is awesome, but beware that you may not finish it all....however, the fried chicken looks wonderful and the S'more dessert....OMG!!!!!![]()

ABC Commissary is where you are forced to eat as penance for your sins.
Seriously. Just walk into the ABC and you can feel a gray cloud settle on your soul.
